  1. Gee youre not messing around getting all the stuff redone so quickly. looking at the pics i think youve done well on it, and i know youre good at body work and paint after seeing your old black Venture, so it should be all shiny and black by Nelson then? we will have place for beer and food then on the runs.....lol, so ill just follow you guys...... Brian Ps mabbe add a new lock to it and only make one key so Nina cant fill it with shopping stuff.....
  2. Ive used the non lemon I think its unscented) version of pledge for a couple of years now, its Ive found it the simplest way to give the bike a great shine. I even do the pipes and windshield on mine. BTW Did you ever get that issue with Diamond gusset Jeans fixed up? Brian
  3. yeah, sure ya got a good deal on the trailer but can ya really afford it? ya gotta know that all that extra space means that Nina can shop more and fill it up , I am thinking it had to be cheaper with less space to fill up.... Brian:Avatars_Gee_George:
  4. that looks exactly like my 85 did before I finally gave up and took it in to get the stator wire grommet replaced. I also had a small leak from the oil level sensor at the front of the pan, but the grommet was the owrst one. I understand that its where the stator wire runs out of the compartment. a grommet is sposed to hold the oil back, but somehow oil wicks along the wire and thru osmosis or voodoo it gets thru the grommet and continues its way to the bottom of the bike and then to the ground or along the left lower side of the bike if youre runnin at hiway speeds. 5. Its been a while since Ive dealt with this, but I think I remember Roxio asking something on install about configuration on reading cd/s/dvd s.., If youve changed the cd/dvd already youre pretty much left with a software issue, and I would suspect Roxio, i dont like the way that software runs, but that just goes back to issues I had a few years ago with their stuff. I would uninstall Roxio, reboot and see what happens and then try a reinstall and carefully read their install popups. Brian
  6. oooo, oooo, ooooo! i would want a set too! for the 1200..

Sorry ta hear that Kerry, you left coast guys arent used to that..... Sounds like youre headed to the wrong place. We are headed for +10C to +15 C for the weekend and into next week! Brian
  9. Rick what do you mean nothing but straight lines.....? this killer curve and hill is only 15 minutes northwest of town...lol http://lh4.ggpht.com/_r7DzJd155ho/SRutNJqErEI/AAAAAAAACHI/KlpLA16RZs4/s640/SANY0048.JPG
  10. YOu paid????
  11. Ok if you say so, but up here everything that holds antifreeze back is called a frost plug......... Brian
  12. I hope you didnt follow thier instructions, when mine is running badly, i dump a half can of seafoam into 3/4 of a tank of gas , and then run it hard until it straightens out. One time I dumped in a full can when it was running really badly. It wont hurt anything but you might hafta replace plugs as they might foul if youre running it that with that much seafoam. As soon as you get the mix burned out put in the fresh gas and it will run great. Brian
  13. Yep, I love riding in the mountains becuase of the scenery and the twisties, but i love riding the prairies for the open skies and the zenlike calm it gives me. You cant compare the two, its kinda like comparing chess and checkers, 2 games on the same board but different things entirely. Brian
  14. Hey Scotty dont make fun of my only corner around for 50 miles.........lol! Brian
  15. How can you say the prairies are boring,,,,,its just the roads that need twisties... Look at this and tell me you wouldnt be a bit excitable riding into this... This was shot about an hours ride south of Regina SK. http://www.vridetv.com/sdlightning.html Brian
  16. Hey Jack I guess you havnt seen Rocket's Calico 83 Venture Royale then. He has half of the fairing original gold other half 86 brown, top trunk gold, side bag gold other side bag 2 tone blue with gold striping... Rocket is on the left in the pic....
  17. The prairies arent boring... the highways here are.... Actually I love the wide open spaces and skies and seeing the grain fields around me, but the roads need a lot more curves out here... But you cant beat the exhilaration and sights when youre trying to beat a prairie thunderstorm across the flats with all the lightning and funnel clouds......... But I also love the scenery and wildlife in the Mountains, but I do find that I cant soak in as much of the scenery when I am enjoying the twisties... Brian
  18. Its available in Regina at the North Albert Auto and Agro (used to be Bumper to Bumper) store right on the main isle as you walk in. I would think it would be the same in Saskatoon, just call around. THe price is usually about 950 a can. If youre ever around Regina, I always have a can or 2 around. Brian
  19. hey theres nothing wrong with last minute stuff:banana:... Some of my best holidays were the last minute kind.....we would be happy to have you in with the fun even if its only for a part of the weekend. Brian ---Mabbe we could have a coffee when I go thru the Hat on June 29th on the way to the Koots..

  22. Lets see ya try and hide that bill in the household expenses...... Brian:Avatars_Gee_George:
  23. You painted the shiny bare metal part of the rotors? or just the painted areas? or are we talking about the right parts here? Never mind I figured it out.....lol I forgot the G2's had the covers over the center area. brian
  24. I just looked at Partshark.com and the price for your valve cover gaskets are just over 18 bucks each..... I would have a long talk with them..... Brian
  25. Seafoam is a fuel stabilizer(its all I use for stabilizer) and also has some fuel drying additives if i remember correctly. All of the uses for Seafoam are on their website. Brian
