  1. Sounds like you got air in it or when the line broke, a piece of crap got down in the line and plugged something up. May also wanna check the circuit relief valve.
  2. What's wrong with the outriggers?
  3. I like my center stand on my 99.
  4. The only thing I can think of is the wear and tear on the bolt holes in the aluminum block.
  5. A first gen pan should work as a replacement. There's plenty of em on ebay for $20.
  6. The pre-99 Royal Stars are gutless wonders. They're rated somewhere around 60hp if I recall correctly. Small cams and small carbs. Pegscraper has modified his extensively and it runs rather well. The 99's on up are rated at 98hp with the bigger cams and larger carbs.
  7. Yeah, good luck with that kind of attitude.
  8. Who would of thought that in a city famous of gambling, alcohol and prostitution, there'd be some dishonest people there? That's bad luck, but at least the bike was upright and you can probably find and inexpensive helmet locally to get ya back home. At least it wasn't in the helmet lock and some drunk peed in it!!!
  9. I also found out the rear wheel can be removed without a jack. I have a Freebird center stand. Put it on the stand, tear it down and pull the axle out, remove the final drive and the wheel and tire will come out.
  10. Is is actually cracked all the way through? It looks like a big ass scratch to me. It appears it stops underneath the saddlebag guards. BUT, Im just looking at a picture which can often be deceiving.
  11. Nope, they're fairly expensive filters. The K&N's are nice, but the only advantage you'll see over the OEM is that you can wash and re-oil them.
  12. I read this wrong. My bad. Have you changed the oil in the final drive itself yet?
  13. That happens on those country roads. The gravel will get pushed down into the tar and gets slicker then snot in the rain. Glad to hear you're relatively OK. The bikes are just stuff and can be replaced. Skin is a bit harder to replace!!
  14. If the noise changes with engine RPM's with the clutch pulled in while you're rolling then it's in the engine, not the transmission or driveshaft. You probably have "THE WHINE" that's so prevalent among the Royal Star crowd.
  15. If I were to tour Europe by motorbike, I would rent one over there. They offer so many different bikes in Europe then they do here in the States that you could try something not available here and brag about it. I know there were a handful of fellas on the RSWarrior.com site that went to Austria and it was much cheaper to rent bikes then it was to ship their own after the insurance and licensing.
  16. You need to go into internet options and change the settings on your proxy server connection. Tools Internet Options Connections LAN Settings Unclick the proxy Restart IE
  17. How do you get the bike up there? I don't see where you could put your feet down if you ride it up there.
  18. Sounds like you're hearing the brake pads rub on the disc, which is normal. Ride it till the noise comes back and LIGHTLY apply the rear brake.

  20. Wait a minute, does it take to Grisoft's site or "AV" site? There's a virus going around that takes you to an "AV" site. 21. Tools tab > Internet Options > restore Adanced Settings and Reset Internet Explorer settings. Restart IE. http://en.kioskea.net/forum/affich-71955-ie-8-cannot-access-any-internet-web-pages
  22. You don't need the Honda stuff. You can get any 3-5% moly infused lithium soap based greased at any auto parts store or even Walmart for less then $4 for a 14oz tube.
  23. You should not use RainX on OEM windshields. Clearview says it's ok to use RainX on their shields. Since this is an RSTD, Im assuming it's an OEM shield and there's not much you can do for it that Im aware of.
  24. No, that spline is not lubed by the rear gear oil. The drive shaft is completely separate from ANY oil. I just pulled the final off and then pulled the driveshaft off the final.
