  1. That's 20,000,000,000,000 dollars....
  2. You are correct. There was a great little Harley dealer in Effingham, IL. Prices were fantastic compared to the BIG SHINEY HARLEY store just 60 miles away. I priced a base Electraglide at both and Jack's in Effingham was $5,000 less. The owner was trying to retire but couldn't sell the dealership because Harley required the new owners to build a monstrosity of a store along the interstate. They finally sold the store to a group of investors and they built their giant megastore along the interstate. They also jacked the prices up and stuffed the store full of merchandise instead of bikes.
  3. I think they buy items like that in the truckload at 1 time. They put it in their distribution centers and when they're out, they don't restock the distribution centers, or they try to replace it with a generic brand.
  4. At the truckstop, I put 5W40 Mobil 1 synthetic in our compressors and changed it every 3 months. Compressors ran quieter and cooler. Ours was similar to this one, but older. http://www.industrialaircompressors.biz/files/943922/uploaded/champion9%2520(2).JPG
  5. Dang! $19 a gallon for Rotella T in the white bottle? Im betting you bought the blue bottle Rotella T6.
  6. Might be worth your money to have them rechromed by a local who can slap it on thick.
  7. That sounds like quite the deal then. Does it also cover valve adjustment? If they sold the agreement, then they either need to follow their own contract and do every prescribed service or refund every penny of the contract.
  8. Ive never heard of the steering neck being called a goose neck before either. The only Gooseneck I know of is a trailer design. http://www.trailershowroom.com/GooseneckEquipmentTrailer6.jpg
  9. Really? Every 12,000 miles? Dang! Yeah, if you paid for a maintenance agreement, I would think that maintenance would be covered. Can I ask how much the agreement was and how long is it good for?
  10. I put a 130 on and slow speed handling was a little better, but on the highway, it followed the cracks in the road too much for my liking. When it was wore out, I went back to the 150.
  11. +1 on that. I replaced my bulbs in pairs and put the old good one back in the package and in my little tool bag for an emergency repair.
  12. Front or rear? My front ones burn all the time and flash brighter. The rear ones only flash.
  13. yep, plus I fill mine to the top line instead of the center of the glass.
  14. I think you mean 3.5 vs 3.75
  15. I just use a 1 gallon jug of Rotella. Plop the bike on the centerstand and fill it to the top line. Start it, shut it off and refill to just below the top line. It leaves about a 1/4" of oil in the jug.
  16. 3.75qts
  17. None that anyone has been able to find yet.
  18. I don't blame ya for replacing it. I doubt that they would have patched it anyways.
  19. Hell, that's a brand new tire for me!! You coulda strapped on top of your trailer!! I'd plug/patch that tire in a heartbeat and never look back.
  20. Did you just say you had another tire to give away?
  21. I don't see how a tire change can cause an oil leak. Maybe he put some grease on the splines inside the hub and final drive and it's flinging the extra out. How's the oil level in the final drive itself?
  22. Interstate 10 in Texas where the speed limit is 80mph and traffic is going over that.
  23. http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1221/531670501_74633c62fe.jpg?v=0
  24. I don't know why you couldn't use it.
  25. Any welding shop should be able to weld the hole shut.
