Get a set of fork caps from a Roadstar, same size forks, but you'll have to pull the fairing to replace them. I don't remember if the valves will come out of the fork caps.

Different seat, that's all I can offer. I don't think Yamaha thought about passenger comfort on any bike except the Venture. -
Shop owes you a new helmet, plain and simple. You shouldn't have left without discussing it with management. Now, unless the mechanic admits to it, it's your word vs their word.

I'd take the Avon if you're not going to use it.

Possible ignition switch? Try turning the ignition switch back and forth slowly while holding the start button.

Or you could order the real motorcycle A/C system, though it's still in production and not available yet. http://entrosys.com/ http://entrosys.com/wp-content/themes/ColdStone/timthumb.php?src=wp-content/uploads/2010/01/1-large.jpg&h=250&w=883&zc=1&q=100

I know when we did an airboat trip in Louisiana, they fed the gators marshmallows to get them to come closer to the boat. Many would come up to the boat expecting to be fed.

Interesting concept. The knobs and seam probably wouldn't bother me as the shield would be in the lowest position except in inclement weather. I'd like to see a little taller version. Maybe a 10 - 15". 10" for warm weather/city riding. 15" to push the rain/cold over.

That's a fine looking firearm there. Back when the grain of the wood could tell you about the soul of the firearm.

The chains are not to protect you, they're protect everyone else on the roadway from your runaway trailer. If you're not willing to accept the dangers and full responsibilities of towing a trailer, please don't.

You could put Seafoam in an oil burning furnace and probably help it. If it burns oil or gas, you can use Seafoam in it.

Considering moving from a Honda ST1100 to a Venture
flb_78 replied to djzoohelp's topic in Watering Hole
The Venture is a beast of a bike compared to your ST1100, but you'll be hard pressed to find a bike with better passenger accommodations though. -

When I worked at the truckstop, we sold a lot of Centramatics for semis. Almost everyone liked them. Our manager put a set on his 1 ton pickup and said it smoothed out the ride.

MT is a 130mm tire, not a 150.
