I`m gonna give that a try....I really like the mic mutes so hope the problem isn`t with that unit..

My intercom was making a real loud screech, like a back feed, I cleaned every connection I could find, I would stil get the screech some times, last sat. the wife and my self were riding to a M&E and now I have nothing, I still get the radio through the headsets but no intercom or CB... I am going to disconnect the mic-mutes and see if I have a problem there....

Ouch!!! got that digit good..... no push stick huh?? out of 30 yrs, if that is the only "slip up" that you have had that is a pretty good run... sure hope all heals well and all function is returned.. Godspeed to a fast recovery.. K -
LOL well the changer is Brads, I just happen to have it anchored to the floor of the shop, I can bring it if needed, but not sure how it will work with out being mounted to the floor any thing else that is needed I could bring in the trailer. ( notice I said IN the trailer and not ON the trailer ) LOL just let me know...

looks good, I got mine from WingStuff and after a year it is rusting, I keep it in side, I should have cleaned it real well and clear coated it when I first got it.. hope yours holds up...

mine runs me $124.00 a year....not sure how many chanels I get, but its a mess of them, I like it cause I only have to head west about 10miles and I lose all reguler FM stations...I really like it, my youngest son gave me the radio for my Bday a few years ago, and I get it re-uped every year for fathers day....

Dont know about brake fluid cracking the plastic, but the res. should NOT be empty, now, when you fill it up, you will need to bleed the brakes, with the fluid that low you probably have air in the system now. Should be some one close to give ya a hand, there is nothing to it once you are shown one time, or do like I did and take step by step pics as I took things apart, and either go to the site or give some one a call... we are here to help.. I think I would stay away from that stealer though..what a jackwad... good luck. K

Welcome to the site, I did that to my stock pipes, sounded ok, but went with the Hardly Road Kings, knocked the baffles out of them, sounds pretty good now. you can find the R/K`s pretty cheap if not free, you may want to go that route before you cut up your stock pipes... K
