    i am curious , here. why do people , who live in the "upper north east", even bother with a pool? i mean, ain't it frozen for at least six months out of the year? by the time the water warms up, you get, what ? one month of use from a pool? not being ornery, just wondering. just jt

    i finally got ron, still long enough to give me the particulars. the place: REFUGIO V.F.W. HALL location: coming from victoria, (going south) on highway 77, first building on the left, as you enter the city limits. time: serving will be from 11:00am, until 2:00 p.m. there is going to be a ride of some kind afterwards, but i don't know the particulars on that. i only know, that it "ain't no poker run"! lol just jt

    just a reminder! the benefit bar-b-que, for rattlesnake, is this coming Saturday. it will be held at the Refugio V.F.W. grounds, in Refugio, Texas. if you can make it, - - -wonderful! if you can't, - - -you lose out on a really good feed, and meeting lots of new people. just jt

    didn't ride today, froggy, but i rode about two hours , yesterday! bright sunny morning, 79 degrees, i begged everyone i could think of - - to ride for me!~ no takers! so i fired up the "john deere mower and went to riding! lol just jt

    well folks , to finish the story: i didn't catch the guy's name. he was a "bandido", from Houston chapter. he had just installed a new battery the day before and made a "meet" in corpus christi. on the way home the batt. shorted out, and he couldn't ride in the dark with no lights. was sorta cool out, so i offered him a thermal sweat shirt, which he politely refused. i offered to go get him a new battery, "no thanks, i'm good", was all he said. i then asked if he was hungry thirsty, he said the same thing, "i'm good". now i figure he must be low on cash, so i offered to go into town, and buy him a new battery, which he could pay back when he was able. by now , he had put his "colors", in his war bag, shook my hand, and thanked me for the offer. last words were "i appreciate your help, brother, but i'm good"! lol i then left him, sitting on a curb, outside of the store. i guess he finally got home. just jt

    this evening, as i stopped in at the ONLY convenience store in my town, i saw two 1%'ers, sitting there. one was "broke down", and the other was "standing by." my conscience, got the best of me, after about 30 minutes, so i went back to offer assistance. the stand-by "brother", was gone! the guy that was broke down, said that he was waiting for his "little brother", to come and get him in a pick-up truck. he told me it was 2 1/2 hours , 'til his brother could get here. now, my question is, "how/or would you offer assistance, to a person in need , who could have a "cloudy background"? just jt

    if #4 plug was "wet", then it IS fouled,out, and will probably never fire again! replace it, and see if that helps. just jt

    i have found, that "wrangler jeans", will keep the "usable part", fairly clean.in the event of one of them "OHH $H!EITE" moments, NOTHING is going to keep it clean! lol:whistling::) just jt

    what really torques your jaws, is the fact that ALL of the fuel refineries, were built, with $5.00 a barrel oil!!!!! what is worse, is that diesel, is a BY-product, of the GASOLINE distillation process! can't get gasoline, without having diesel, kerosene, and all the other heavy fuels, as a last phase. just jt

    most likely, if someone has replaced the battery, it is the "low liquid" sensor. most batteries, have no hole into which you insert the probe, so folks either do a "workaround", or ignore the blinking light. just jt

    i live out of "hip pocket national bank"! if it ain't there, then i do without, until i can swing it. sometimes, it gets really thin, when there's "too much month at the end of the money". doesn't look like it's going to get any easier, either! i STILL intend to QUIT working, at the end of September! my have to change my last name, but i am tired of working for the man! just jt

    REPLY #65!!!!!!!! seems to me , and i have stayed out of this fracus, that we have just about "beat this dead horse", into a pulp! professional TIRE dealers, say NO! professional "gamblers ", say yes! don't that just about sum it up????? nuff said! JUST JT
