Well in the fall I was talking that maybe in the spring I would get a new windshield. But which one to buy? I talked about the different manufactures and the pros & cons of each........but hadn't made up my mind. Santa is trying to tell me something! I think?! Cause I got an asessory for a particular Yamaha Venture aftermarket windshield......... Looks like I'm suppose to get a BaggerShield.....(I know this one in the stock photo shows it on a GoldWing but the packaging says the one I got fits a Yamaha Venture/Harley BaggerShield replacement windshield.) Santa is going to cost me some money.....need a BIG BaggerShield sale! Also got a pair of Kevlar jeans.

Hey Puc Don't know if you have seen this site but it is a history of the Bomber Group. There is all kinds of info. on the group, missions, crews, aircraft, bases and losses. http://www.b26.com/historian/chester_klier.htm So it is the "DIARY OF THE 386TH BOMBARDMENT GROUP" They have a guest book on the site where past air-crew can post messages. If you check the Guest Book Year 2000 you will find that George A. Flemming made a post. ......as follows. (More confirmation of his service.) Date: 7/26/00 Time: 3:01:43 PM George A. Flemming, Flight Engineer 386th, 555th Group. Looking for anyone with pictures or surviving personnel from this group. -

Hey Trader, do you get stopped a lot ? It's 50 k/h in built up areas. FYI. "statutory speed limits are 50 km/h in urban areas, 80 km/h in rural areas."

This is what Polaris has to say.... U.S. and Canadian Legislation Update There has been speculation with regard to state and provincial regulation for Slingshot. The facts are that we are currently approved for sale in 46 U.S. states and 4 Canadian provinces. The exceptions within the U.S. are Indiana, Connecticut, Maryland, and Hawaii. With regards to Canada, we are currently approved for sale in British Columbia, Alberta, Quebec, and New Brunswick. Our legal team continues to work with the remaining states and provinces to find resolution, which in most cases is simply tied to the language that defines what classifies as a motorcycle in a particular state or province. We are confident that there will be resolution in the near future. Most of the readers on this forum have likely heard about the situation in Texas as well, and we are VERY pleased to report that the Texas Department of Public Safety has determined that Slingshot can be operated with a motorcycle license. Currently, we are working with the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles to resolve titling of Slingshot, and we are confident that resolution is forthcoming. Since the vehicle can now be legally sold, and because the titling matter is very nearly resolved, Polaris started shipment of the two initial stocking profile orders to all eligible Slingshot dealers within Texas.

Tim's hasn't been Canadian for a number of years, Wendy's bought them. But Burger King isn't American, a Brazilian private-equity firm is the majority owner and has been calling the shots in the takeover of Tim Hortons. They also own Budweiser and Heinz, the reality of the Global economy. The company from Brazil is 3G Capital Inc.
