  3. Yes both towns amalgamated to become Thunder Bay in 1970.
  4. Thunder Bay used to be called Fort William!
  5. I told you right around the corner from my house.
  6. Well it's right around the corner from my house.......race you! See ya there.
  7. I'm crushed! To think I was going to ride to DQ with you........
  8. Yes you need something I used a couple of pieces of old hose as spacers, works great. I haven't got mine on yet I'll take a couple of pictures to post tomorrow to show you how that works. Maybe some others on here could use the same info.
  9. That Carl is a shifty kind of guy! Not absolutely sure about his scoot and I've followed him for miles......I think he shifts!?
  10. OK. I had the fairing split on my new to me 2013 which I bought to replace the 2005 that the Ins Co wrote off. When I was in there installing the splinter cable for my iPad / GPS.........I notice a sticker on the cassette-deck.....manufactured "July 2012" I thought they had a huge stock pile in a warehouse somewhere in a 3rd world country. And that it was full of cassette decks they had manufacted back in the late 80's and they were still trying to get rid of them all! Who?! Still manufactured cassette desks in 2012? And we want these guys to come up with a new super modern, ahead of it's time, class leading bike! And yet, for some reason. I still got to..... "Believe"
  11. Geez! Puc with you and your twerk'n & tooch'n.........I might end up with my eyes bleeding!
  12. Well new fangeled slang. Mastrotucci was my name all My forever and people been calling me Tooch since I was in grade 7 or 8. So I had it first Got admit I might think of "Cathy / Tooch" a little different now....but that might be a good thing!
  13. Hey Wow another big spender! Best 12 bucks you'll ever spend to get abused! Really you have come to a great place and again welcome, now that your all official like.
  14. And I was thinking about getting Jaybird to paint "CATHY / TOOCH" on the trunk of my bike!
  15. Hey! Whats with all the racket down there?! Can't you tell us neighbours up north are trying to relax?! Peace & quiet, summer time and vacations and all......Now tone it down a bit....I'm talking to you Puc Crusier I will say from the not so white (at least right now) north
  16. Hey Dave you not putting the reflectors back on? And that was great of Relic! I'm trying to straighten out my old set, left side, to see if I can make them work on my new scoot.
  17. I was really down that I have to cancel coming to the International and missing seeing Don again and finally getting to meet you.........but to miss this show! I'm bummed right out now!
  18. When I first saw that photo, I kind of thought it looked like they took the front end of a Bricklin, from back in the 80's.....same sort of look.
  19. Every kid I knew had a bike with a banana-seat and high handlebars (Ape-hangers) and we would get concrete blocks and plywood sheets and long boards and build us crazy high ramps and proceeds to either wreck ourselves or our bikes and maybe perhaps both! All cause of Evil......I think a good number of the scars on my knees can be attributed to my attempts at making my two wheels fly over and beyond ditches, a variety of assorted obstacles and maybe even a buddy or three. Once jumped my bike off the school gym down onto the 1st floor roof of the school. That was a a crash of epic per portion...My Dad had to use a cutting torch to heat up the frame so we could bend it to straighten it out. I was picking little pieces of roofing stones out of my hide for a week. Only thing my Dad asked me was, "How the hell did you get your bike up on the roof of the school gym?" I climbed up on the roof and threw a rope down my buddy tied it to my bike. My Buddy then climbed up and we pulled the bike up, dragging it along the wall of the gym on the way up. It was easy! For awhile my nickname was Coyote.......cause I would dream up these crazy things to do and crash and mostly still live. I use to watch all the ABC Wild World of Sports specials they did on Evil, I thought he was cool! Nuts but cool!
  20. I thought you 1st Gen guys just slap stickers and things all over it and then get people to sign it!? :rotf:
  21. Hey Fool You just do what the doctors tell you to do and you'll be back having quickies before you know it! Ah?....Wait that may not have come out right?......Never mind! Just get well........thinking of you!
  22. I don't remember where but I know I read somewhere that wiggling your ears makes your brains leak out your nose?! Explains a lot!
  23. I guess the SOB has read the owners manual........ PARKING When parking, stop the engine, re-move the key from the main switch, and then turn the fuel cock lever to "OFF" Who knew?!
  24. I'm not sure how to respond to this? I'm still trying to wrap my head around it..... Like you said, I guess, it works for you. (Against all the laws of physics of course!) Your sure stretching out your stopping distances not using the front brake.
  25. I'll agree with other's here the 2nd GEN locks up the rear brakes like no other bike I've ever had but I've got used to it. As for the Yips riding again, I haven't had a bike to ride since I put mine down in the rain on the way back from MD. But I was driving my cage to work the other day on 400 Hwy in the pouring rain and that spooked me. I've been a LOE for 35 years it was my job to drive in the worst weather, day or not and sometime in emergencies pushing the limits! I've had all kinds of driving, skid and motorcycle courses and need to re-qualify every year. I love to drive and ride....but I also know about PTSD. Stress comes with real major and sometime even minor things. You never know what might get to you and how. Take your time Dan work it out, talk about it when and with whom your comfortable with. If you want it to be, it will come around at your pace. I know I'm going to have to work on mine a little. But I also know and have the mind set that it will come. Let it heal Dan, we're all pulling for you!
