In the CP, there is an option to show how many posts to show per thread. Currently, the Maximum shows to be 40. Can this be increased? I have mine set to 40 but would not mind 50 or 100 as an option.

Is there a good thread on here to help understand/diagnose the leveling system on the first gen. I get nothing from mine, no lights, no noise, nothing. I suppose the place to start is, is it getting power? Thanks D

I just had a freind of mine hit a deer and crash his bike. Thankfully he is ok, but this sure got me to thinking. I have driving lights mounted on my bike, but was also thinking of maybe going to a PIAA head lamp bulb for my bike. Has anyone done this before, if so what kind of Bulb did you use? I have never had to replace mine, Is it an H3 or H4 bulb? Iwas thinking of going with the higher out put light, can the venture headlight assembly take the heat?

Ok here it is, I bought an '83 venture royale late last summer rode it a few times before I had to put it up for the winter. Now that summer is almost here again I decided to change all the fluids. My question is how do I know how much "final gear" oil to use? Read in here somewhere that in the toolkit (mine is long gone) there was a device for just this sorta thing. Like I stated mine is long long gone. So do I just fill it up or ........ Thanks in advance.

has anyone out there used harley rails on their 2nd gen i see alot mor harley rails on ebay then venture rails .and if so was there alot of modifing to them to get them to look right ? its one of the last things i want to put on mine

"Shady Lady" is running but might have to ask "Brown Sugar" and the "Red Baron" To slow down and wait a little on me. You remember the pics of it when I bought it? It does look good from 10 ft. away. He claimed 22k more like 122k. I was bike hungry should have waited but its mine. He still hasn't got feedback from me on the E-Bay feedback but I'm holding it open. Lot of busted Plastic I should have pulled to check but didn't. I was fooled good this time but it is a !st Gen and I WILL BE ON THE ROAD. And boy do I have PARTS!!

Its amazing how 30 degree weather feels great, been outside all weekend in the yard working on the shop, finishing the siding so I can get my inspection. The thought did cross mine mind about taking the bike for a little cruise.

My son inlaw called me last night and told me that when he started up his 07 R.S.V. it had fuel coming out on top of his radiator and he could not tell where it was coming from. He said he could not see because of all the stuff in his way. I would think carb. or fuel line. He just got it in september. the way things have come lose on mine I would say that it could very well be. Dave

OK -- I know I saw a thread on replacement bulbs for the passing lights on the RSV 2nd Gens. Darned if I can find it. I just need to know the best, most-liked, awesome bulbs that you guys have seen so I can replace mine. The bulb is not listed inthe parts catalog from Yamaha (at least that I could see). Thanks in advance for your assistance.

What is under the front left side lower leg cowling? I know there is a vacuum actuator pump for the crusie control but I do not know what else there is. I need to know this becouse mine was ripped off (along with part of my leg) by a car.

I read the whole list both the old one and the new one and in all of those bikes I only saw 1 person who had a 1982 Honda cb 900 custom.why did no one like this 10 speed bike ???.I love mine but it needs all the calipers rebuilt and I dont know how and dont have the tools to di it so it just sits with just 14,000 miles on it. snake

Hows everything going in your neck of the woods......made any more mods to the 1300. I am still trying to find some lowers like you made, for mine, and no luck, so if you know where I can get some , please let me know. I finally ordered my radio system for mine along with the CB. Check them out. Hope the system works as good as others I have heard, for the price its unbelievable what you get and the system uses the 5 pin plug that comes standard on the Venture. I have heard the CB over mine and it sounds just as good as the one on the 1st gen. Hope that mine sounds just a good. You can check them out at the links below. Found the intercom system and intergrator at CBXMAN MOTORCYCLES & ACCESSORIES As soon as I get it installed I will post a review here in case anyone else is looking for a good system thats reasonable........take a look and see what all comes with it..........I got all of it including shipping, which was free for both, for under $275.00.
