It was brought up in the "Request for Features" area that events listed on the calendar get lost among all the members birthdays. I am experimenting with the calendar and have removed birthday listings from it. Do any of you use the calendar to see who is having a birthday? The birthdays are listed at the bottom of the forum and I figure that most people use that listing and not the calendar. It does really clean up the calendar and makes it much easier to spot our events but if the majority of you prefer it the other way, I can quickly change it back to the way it was. As always, opinions are welcome.

Hello Everyone: FYI, I just listed a 14" windshield and lower plastic pieces, that I resently took off of my 05 RSTD. It is less than one year old. I simply needed a bit taller windshield. I put on a 19.5 inch windshield. Let me know if anyone is interested. Thanks...

I lost one of the clips that hold the side panel in place. The rubber and metal thing that holds the side panel down??? Does Yamaha still have this things listed?? Can they begotten?? Or has someone come up with a better way to secure these things. Any Ideas? joe:fishin:

Hope you don't mind us drawing attention to it here in the watering hole but fear it may not be noticed in the "other bikes section" - Just listed in the classifieds. 93 goldwing trike. I know - It's not a venture but maybe someone here knows someone that wants a wing. 15oo/6. It's got a roadsmith trike kit - with easy steer. My wife needs to get rid of it to get a work truck (We are keeping the TD). Check out the classified and see if you have any questions. -
I hope someone will help looking up a part number. I have an 05 Venture. Sitting on the bike if you look to the left inside of the fairing there are 4 bolts. The top bolt holds goes through the fairing and holds the chrome trim piece on. The next three bolts go in the fairing and I lost all three of them riding this weekend. I went to the parts catalog on the yamaha web site and the fairing is listed under cowling 1 but I can't determine which number is listed for these three bolts. Any help would be appreciated.

I am getting ready to wire up my scoot for a trailer and this place has everything I needed including an adaptor for the lights which plugs into the light plug under the seat.....suppose to be no splicing. It's made for the RSV's. It is so new that they don't have it listed on the web page yet. I haven't gotten it yet (but it is ordered). It is suppose to be a plug and play sort of deal. Does anyone here know of a Yamaha model called a "Vista"? I have seen on eBay a listing for a "1983 yamaha vista royal back rest", item number is 320435513668. I am wondering if this may fit a 1984 Venture? The back rest appears very similar to others I have seen listed for the First Gens. It is listed at an inexpensive price and I do not know if it will fit or not. I don't want to bid if it won't work. Also, How do others partners find sitting behind a driver's back rest. Is there enough room? Thanks. Dave

I just listed a very nice set of Venture saddlebag liners by Bestem in the 2nd Generation secion of the Classifieds. Since I traded my 2006 Venture, I don't need these anymore. I occasionally surf thru ebay and have found some good stuff and some junk. I am also amazed at what some of these folks think their stuff is worth. It is not uncommon to see something listed for a buy-it-now price of $150 and on the next page, the same thing listed for $20 and still no or very few bids. My question, as it pertains to this forum is; if I see something I think others may need or want, should I flag it to the masses on here? Because, when I am watching something that I want, I don't want someone blabbing to the world about it. When I am bidding, I kind of feel it is everyone else's tough luck if they do not spend the effort to look on ebay. But, when I come across something I think you guys may want, I want to flag it to the group. I would really like to know how others feel about this. RandyA
