I have been looking at these great highway pegs by kuryakyn, Then I was looking at new handle bars, a new horn. I now have some expendale cash and I dont want to spend it. I feel i dont need those add ons and can save the cahs for a rainy day.Am I growing up. I told my wife I will grow old but never grow up . Please tell me , Am I brain washed by the Mrs.???

There is an add on Craigs list right now for a house for rent. The add lists the address, has pictures, and it is my parents house. My parents are NOT trying to rent this house. This house in this neighborhood would rent for a lot more than the CL add. The reply to email address even has my fathers name in it. This is a scam, the police have been notified but said there is not much they can do. There have been local news reports of this where someone is taking real estate listings (yes the house was just listed for sale 2 weeks ago) and using the info from that to create these for rent adds, usually the first that someone knows of it is when one or more moving vans shows up in front of their house with one or more familys expecting to move in having already paid their first and last months rent plus security deposit. Not only are these family's out the money they sent to the scammer but they have already terminated the lease where they were living. Just thought this was neat. The bike some of us started with, a small dirtbike then on through the smaller street bikes on to the large touring bike. I finally got around to adding more to my trailer. I figure my June trip is going to be here before I know it, so I better get after it. I had the basic trailer done but here's what I did yesterday: Added lights, some "decorations" like the saddle bags, cross, reigns, etc. Added some interior battery operated lights. Added some ways to store some bungees. And added some weather stripping on the inside to seal the lids. I still have more of that to add because I ran out. What I've got left to do: add more weather stripping and add locks or latches... Here's a few pictures of what it looks like so far.

If you could add one tool, or piece of equipment to your shop, what would it be. Add a second choice too if you like In my case I would like a motorcycle lift. Will be putting it together this weekend. I've read of the trials and tribulations some have had with them, so I'll be paying close attention during assembly. I'd like to add the Wally World (about $35.00) led trailer taillights. I'll also be adding a 5 wire in to 4 wire harness. question is how will the bike's turn signal function react to these additions? Has anyone gone with the black Stebel Nautilus and mounted it as the second horn under the front fairing, and would it accomplish the same thing? My OEM is already chrome so buying one of the Stebel chromes, and mounting it on the right side would only get me a louder horn...not add to the bling... The blacks Stebels have a better price, and wonder if anyone has gone that direction and the result...??

We'll be heading out in a wee bit, pick up ibents and Pat, and off we go to Kitchener to add inches to the waistline, lbs. to the overall mass, and bend the ears of probably far too few who don't want to hear far too much from myself and Beth. Add to this that Carl is running the show...and look out! We're gonna have a party in Bongobob's room before the great event...or maybe that is the great event? Who knows? It's great to get together with everyone, new friends and old, older in Carl's case..lol! Looking forward to the great event, it'll be a great one, as all of Carl organized doooooooos are! gunk:shock3:

just purchased an 01 RSV that looks brand new. it's a real eye catcher. I sold my gl1800 and wanted something with a bit of an attitude and the rsv is just right. the only thing i don't like is that high ptich whine and the confusing radio controls. Looking forward to many miles of crusin. I live in the piney woods of northeast texas. i would like to add some lights to make me more visible front and back. any suggestions as i haven't had time to look around yet. also is there a particular brand of tire that is everyones favorite. thanks, David

I stumbled on this old thread "Magnets to make traffic lights turn green". I've only riden since Sept 2010 and before that it has been 27 years. So I have some catching up to do. I read all the comments and for the small cost I am going to install one. One of the links suggested to go to Harbor Freight and look up Welding Magnets. I'm concluding the more powerful the magnet the better. Hi!, My name is Larry and I live in the Bootheel of Missouri. A month ago I traded my 1300c for a 06 rsmtd. The 06 had 3300 miles on it and I consider it as close to new as you could get. It does have the loud clutch chirp, which I will deal with later. This site has been a great help in learning about the new bike (to me). I have added the Harley lic. plate bracket and lights and I have a set of RK mufflers to add. My question is: How do you save the soft gasket material that is around the head pipe? or do you just buy new if you decide to put the stock pipes back on. I will be adding more to the profile soon. And thanks for all of your help. Larry

I have a 96 Royal Star with 16k miles on it and I reaaly wish it had a fairing and maybe a trunk. Does anyone know if I can add one and if so where I would find one? -

I guess there is quite a few cassette players on the shelf now. I always thought that logo on the cassette player was kind of cool, After removing it and adding gauges I took the logo off and put it here. My new star license plate holder add 3M backing tape and your good to go! [ATTACH]40964[/ATTACH] Now to put the cassette player in the tackle box for a line weight for the fishing poll. -
OK all, I have the beast on the road (without plastic - see pic). I love the de-linked brakes, but, I will probably replace the long rubber hose (master-to-coupler) with a braided line to firm the front brakes up a little. The 1300 engine with Vmax cams and springs is a real hoot. The power is impressive! I need to do some fine-tuning on the carbs. They are from my 1200 and all I have done is to add 1.6mm spacers on the needles. It starts easy and runs good. The idle seems to wander a bit and I have not checked the mpg. Next - PAINT

Will camshafts out of an 83 fit in a 99? Are 83 camshafts the same as Vmax? Now that Ive rolled 100,000 miles on my 99, I'd like to add a little pick me up to it.
