Thanks! another member has one and is going to send me pics! if that doesnt work, I may try the bay. Mine is right below the gas cap, so I am not sure it would hide it.

I would suggest you contact a few local gun shops/shooting ranges and see if any of them have guns that you can rent and shoot. You will get to handle them to see what feels/shoots best. I have purchased/sold several handguns for CCW because I did not know some of the shooting ranges had guns you could rent. I like the new Ruger LC9 or the S&W bodyguard semiauto for CCW. In my truck, I carry a .357 revolver. It was interesting to read some of the posts. I usually dont carry while riding my bike for fear that I may go down and cause the gun to go off! May try to carry the Bodyguard in my vest.

A couple weeks ago, I had a 5 gallon bucket seat that I use for hunting fall out of the rafters and hit the tank on my bike. Of course the soft cushion seat couldn't hit it, it was the bottom of the bucket and it left a dent. Any idea where I can get a replacement? A friend of mine owns a dent remobal company and didn't think he could remove it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.....made me sick!

Went riding today and made a left when I heard a scraping noise. I looked down and it looked like the kick stand was not up all the way. Pulled over, had my daughter steady the bike, so I could check it out, when I grabed on to the part you put your foot on to lower the stand, it snapped off in my hand! In order to put the stand down, I have to have someone hold the bike, so I can reach under the bike and pull the stand down. A buddy of mine said he could weld it back on, but I am wondering if it will hold. Any idea where I can get a replacement at a reasonable price?

Help selecting a new front tire
flyfshn replied to flyfshn's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
is there an advantage of a smaller front tire? I currently have 150/80-16 on the front and 150/80-15 on the back. -
I have a 1996 Royal Star that I just purchased and I need to replace the front tire. The bike is blue & white and currently has Dunlop D404 white wall tires, that really look good. I spoke to a local Yamaha dealer yesterday and they recommended the Elite 3, but that was mainly becuase I told them I did not care if it was a WW, I just wanted something that would have excellent traction in both dry/wet pavement. Have been reading reviews of tires on the internet and on this forum and now I am totally frustrated. I have pretty much decided that I want to replace it with a WW tire, so I will have to select from the Dunlop 404, Metzler Marathon 880 and Avon Venom.......so, I would like the opinions of those that have experience with any of these 3 tires. What do you think?
