    1st , i anit gonna answer the 2nd ? the reason you swap ports is the M/C put 70% to the front and 30% to the rear . when delinking you want all the brake you can get so you want to use the front port . get the plug and rear brake line from Skydoc at least , i did not get the plug from him thinking i could just find a bolt to fit , guess what you can't buy 1 that is that short so i spent a 1/2 day buying the bolt than cutting it down to fit

    that is a 1st i think , using a 2nd Gen for parts , i delinked my 86 , i used the front lines off a vmax , i got all the other parts i needed from Skydoc , i wish i had talked to him before i bought the parts because he has a kit with everything you need to delink .

    lift adapter

    The lift i have is pretty good , it has a place to strap it to the bike , it works just like my regular lift , but when Squid removed the rear tire the bike leaned forward a little that worried me . the lift is rated i think for 1200 lbs , when i 1st got it i strapped the bike to it and it was very stable , also it has a 5/8 steel locking pin which we did not use . using 1 of carbon one's adapters would make it very stable . i would like to figger out something so it would not use the ex. pipes to lift the bike . if i ever get some time i want to build a high stand for the front tire and center stand so i can lift the bike the full high of 30 in. and set the bike on them . i got the lift from Harbor fright for 159.00 it is not on the on line cat. but it is in the stores .

    Jerry , how about 38% beer ? but tomorrow nite it's gonna get down to 30% F and that too cold for even BEER !! there is always 38% beer here for you but i like the 70% weather to ride in ! in the last 2 weeks i have drove the cage more than i have in the last year . for 2 weeks it has been rain , cold rain , cold ! i think i need to move back to FLA where it just rains every day . all this WHINING I THINK I MITE HAVE P.M.S. !!!!!!!!

    I don't do cold !! it's getting cold down here ! :cold:when the snowbirds come down they are not supposed to bring the cold with them :cold:and they are bringing the worst thing down this year ! the Idiot weather man said on tv that ----- you ain't gonna believe it ---- SNOW FLURRYS ,:cold::cold::cold::cold::cold::cold: IN SOUTH TEXAS !! I don't do snow ! so if know body heres from me Friday you know i saw snow and am in shock !

    so i will not be mean and tell you what the temp. is rite now yaaaaa i will , rite now it is 61% , i live only 25 miles from CC , and with in 25 miles of me there is 125 RV parks ! so there is lots of places to park that toyhouse Thom PS the fishing is great !

    thanks, now i got a idea of how they where made , i am going to try to use something like them on the headers i am putting together , the U bends i ordered should be in this week . Again Thanks Thom

    yes there is 1 per hose , mine are about 12 in. from the end

    i have used mine on 1stgs and 2ndgs and did not use adapters , just pull off 1 of your rubber nipples and stick the rubber hose on , the nipple will have a clamp on it , i think there is some pics in the tech library

    When i put small motors away for a long time i dump the gas out put in some seafoam , pull the rope a few times to get the seafoam in the carb , good for a year !

    Dano, do you know what size pipe he used ? i have ordered some U bends to make a replacement for the ext. boxes and it would be nice just to make a straight pipe to go with them .
