  2. ok guys i need some answers, with only 1100 miles on this new bike it seems to a lot hoter then my 06rsv after tracing down the main heat source it appears to be coming from the chrome clutch cover on the right side as sitting on the bike ( rear big cover). today i rode 5 miles and it was hot enough to feel thru my boot and pant leg after returning home i used a contact themp. and had a temp of 162 is this normal. i did check to insure the fan is running, the oil level ok only difference from the 06 is the chrome rad coveing,06 doesnt have one any suggestions thanks steve:confused24:
  3. ito had trouble gettingthe rad down enough to get the top tab over the tube, i just took tin ships and split the top tab on one sibe at an angle opened the tab enough to slide past the tube then bent the tab back to org.shape works fine. i did find that there was a slight vib so i added two small rubber bumpers between the rad and cover at the top to prevent rattle:080402gudl_prv:
  4. wife asked "honey do these pants make my butt look big" i replied no its all thoes pies and cakes you eat :rotf:

  7. took a short spin around the block today actually went 354 miles the first ride on the 2010 rsv other then a few 1-2 miles here localy. i ma impressed with this bike there's no "whine" not that the 06 was bad but it has a slight one. the engne roar/rumble is really great on the 2010 one sounds more like a bike should,06 was very quite. but i did/do see what all of you have said about the bridgestones , there is a lot of tire noise. i averaged about 70mph and on 2 filol-ups i averaged 46mpg which is grea i now have a grand total of 804 miles on her i loved the 06 enough to buy another rsv and glad i did steve

She has done a lot for veterens rights here in kentucky and has done lobbing in D.C. for our rights. She is a champion of veterns causes and has created the Heather French Foundation for Veterns Inc. she has supported the group i ride with Task Force of Omaga and PG in many functions so if your in that area chech her out and support all veterns and Pow/Mias thanks steve
