Hey Dog, the web address is www.raskcycles.com. It is about 35 or 40 miles on Route 68 just 1 mile east of Evans City, Pa. Their address is on their website. Give me a yell when you are coming via message or post and I will try make the time to ride up their with you. Jim Jim I sure wish I was able to make it up this year but, it sure looks doubtful. Dad would like to go up and look as some of the Restos though I am sure. He just lives at the back of Thomlinson Run State Park off of Scott's Lane in New Manchester. Evans City would be a good ride for him on his HOG.......LOL Dog

Thank you I thought I was doing something wrong because I kept getting a search engine on the first link. Man they got some perty restos there! Wouldn't mind adding a few of those to the stable! My Dad lives not far from there and I will tell him about it! Dog

I would like the web address if you will post it. My folks live in New Manchester and Dad will need a few things. You say it is fairly local to Newell, could you tell me where it is located? Thanks, Dog FYI Yammer Dan...Newell WV. is in the northern most panhandle of WV. at the top of the state, in Hancock County....2 miles to Ohio going west and 3 miles to PA. going east......
  4. Well I got my horn hooked up yesterday and I got to say it is pretty loud. Not ear splitting as I was imagining but, loud nun the less! I followed these instructions: I also have an easy wiring instructions. A. Pink horn wire goes to RELAY POST 85. B. Brown horn wire goes to Relay Post 86. C. Connect one end of a wire to Relay Post 30 and the other end to the Hot side,+, of the compressor D. Connect end of your 20 amp Fused line to Relay Post 87 and the other end to the Hot Post,+, of your Battery. E. Connect the negative,-, on compressor to ground or neg,-, post on battery I only had to remove the OEM horn from it's place and then add the new horn where the old one was. The other horn under the faring is still there and still connected and working. As for wiring just follow those instructions and everything will work like it should. The plug on the OEM horn I just cut into 2, their was a small V shaped plastic piece holding the 2 wires together. Once the V piece is cut you can then plug them into the relay directly. I mounted the relay under the battery cover on the side. And I used Carbon One's stainess steel bracket. All went well and it works like a charm! Thanks everyone for the usefull information and Carbon One, I greatly appreciate the bracket my friend! http://www.ultimatemyspace.com/i/smilies/party/party0038.gif Dog
  5. Helmer, I hate to keep plugging this site but, what these guys are putting together is amazing. It probably is making the Harley guys a little jelous though! http://forums.delphiforums.com/ultrastar/start Dog
  6. Bob, I would suggest that you try looking here: http://forums.delphiforums.com/ultrastar/start But, I suppose you might have already Dog
  7. Bill, I know somone will jump in here and answer your question correctly. I don't have a battery tender brand but, I do have some cheap units I keep on both my bikes and my garden tractor that I bought from Lowe's. I leave them on all the time when I am not riding and so far I haven't had any problems at all! Dog
  8. Allen, I don't know of anything that I could say that hasn't been said. Our Prayers and condolences my friend! Dog
  9. Man! It is amazing what you can learn here! This is a great post and I give it 5 stars. I did a repair job for a guy that had totaled the front of a Ford Fiesta, the guy had sentimental value in the crazy thing and wanted me to chop the front end of another good bodied car and weld it from the windshield forward on his body. I told him I could buy the whole donor car and put his drivetrain in it cheaper than what he wanted to do but, he would not hear of it. He paid me a great deal of money to chop the two in half with a plasma cutter and mig weld the two of them together. He was happy, I got rich, good trade in my book! http://www-freesmileys.com/images/36_1_36.gif Dog
  10. Got mine on the way! Can't wait to scare the Nun's down the street! Dog
  11. I have been using Shell Rotella Syn in my 06 RSV and it is quieter and shifts smoother....Let 'em laugh, I ran the same thing in my 18-wheeler and it had 500,000 miles on it when I sold it and it's still running without a rebuild! http://cybergifs.com/dogs/RunWolf.gif Dog
  12. See I tell you that you have perfected the stand by adding the foot adapters and darn if you don't come up with a new idea! Being able to roll the bike on a concrete floor garage would have it's advantages! Perhaps you can offer them welded to the feet as an option. I couldn't use them now but, would be nice if they were available as an option later. Dog
  13. Yea Buddy, I sure can't say that they were the good ole' days! I used laquer for a lot of years and did the custom paint thing! Lace, endless lines, pannel painting, flames, smoke from a torch, and plastic wrap, woodgrain, u name it! Now I just let someone else do it! Aren't we glad that there are better methods these days!!
  14. Wow Jack, I haven't used laquer in many years! Dan is right about having to rub it out to get it to shine. I didn't realize that you were using spray cans, didn't really think about it...sorry! I did paint a show car with 13 coats of hand rubbed laquer one time...took me 3 weeks to paint it. I didn't think I was ever going to get finished! http://cybergifs.com/funny/taz.gif Get rubbing my friend! Dog
  15. Hi Jack, From the sounds of it you might have used an incorrect reducer in your paint. I spray clear over acrylic enamel all the time, even when the undercoat color is still wet. I've seen too much fish eye remover put into the mix and the wrong temp reducer cause the same effect. Did the same thing once myself....Don't tell anyone! About all you can do my friend is get out the 1500 grit sand paper and sand it back down to the undercoat of paint and start over. http://www.cybergifs.com/funny/cheers.gif Dog
  16. Hey Buddy, Glad that you like the results! Plus you save big bucks! http://cybergifs.com/emphasis/fistcash.gif Better Spent on CHROME! or http://cybergifs.com/food/grilling.gif Dog
  17. Hey Larry, Glad you expanded on my idea of the foot addons for us poor folks with no concrete to put the bike on. I still plan on getting your new design and with the foot addons you now offer. I know everyone that has purchased them from you are very happy with them. Keep up the good work! I think you have created the ultimate stand for us now! Now you can move on to another great idea because I don't think you can improve on this one! Dog
  18. Condor, I can't say enough about my Piggy Backer trailer. I am well satified with it and customer service has been outstanding. I will never spend what they want for one of the top of the line trailers. Mine performs great and at 19 cubic feet it holds all I want to take with me! There is a parts dealer down here that is asking $750 for a 80's model Honda Goldwing trailer! Heavy fiberglass, torsion suspension and 8"wheels and a luggage rack on top! I'll keep my Piggy! Dog
  19. If they build it and it's for a bike, we will buy it! $9 a piece for spark plugs, $180 for a tire, $529 for license tags! It's only money! Yea Right! Dog
  20. Hey Bill, Yep, the spacer worked great and I love the look of it on the bike. I hope I don't have to split the fairing for awhile but, it will come off now without moving the passing lamps. It is a great product and it was a pleasure doing business with you! Dog
  21. Thanks for the tip! "Sometimes you can teach an old dog new tricks" http://www.moonshinesteel.com/images/choppersmiley.gif Dog
  22. According to this jerk's feedback on E-Bay, it appears that he sold his first one in May, if that isn't a forgery too! Boy, this gets the "Dog" Mad! I really feel bad for Larry! http://cybergifs.com/dogs/doggrowl.gif Dog
  23. I can't say for sure but, it looks like a stolen idea with marketing plan. Unless this is Carbon One in disguise, I believe that we have a copy-cat situation here! Dog
  24. Don't forget the Blue Lock-Tight. Once you figure out where you want them lock-tight them down. Mine came lose a couple of times during the (where I wanted them phase) but, they haven't moved since the lock-tight was applied.....LOL Second gen's were easy as now I have them where I can either rest my heels on the running boards and toes on the bars or have my foot out all the way on them....Good Luck Dog
  25. Yep, unscented pledge (to avoid the stings) to clean the whole bike, chrome, paint, and windshield. No wax build-up and you don't have to get out the tooth brushes and cotton swabs to remove the white residue from regular wax. Go-Jo creamy hand cleaner ($.99) a tub to remove scratches and swirls from the windshield, helmet visors, etc... Your new bike probably doesn't have any swirls or scratches yet but it is inevitable that it will in the future. My Dad and I have been using Go-Jo for that for years. It doesn't completely remove them but, fills them in so that they are not as noticable when riding straight into the sun light. I just rub it on the windshield front and back with my fingers and then wipe it off with a terry cloth towel. http://smilies.sofrayt.com/fsc/sunglasses2.gif Dog
