unfortunatly accidents always make us a safer and better driver as we get complacent with everyday things even when it involves safety we do get complacent with the safety checks we are all glad you are here to talk about it and you can tell your wife you have our support and gave all of us a chance to learn something from your accident and to pass on to those not on this forum

heat will be a contributing factor hot gas heat of day hot roads and a weakining pump as the pump gets hotter with no way to cool off it will show a drop on the meter a friend just went thru this he changed the filter 3 times and the pump once the pump was the problem it had the same symptoms you described with yours snaggletooth i also went thru it in the suburban 2hrs. from the house not fun

ok now im getting scared and i havent even started on my carbs yet doing the carb swap Goose i may be calling you and trailering my bike to texas for som help on the carbs Bummble Bee keep us posted on how it goes hope it works and your chasing that front wheel soon

its mostly hd riders here and though my RSTD is down and havent gotten a chance to ride it yet im already getting snubed by the hd riders excuse me the holyier than thou riders. guess they are mad at the fact they will have to get familiar with the looks of my tail light when its on the road come september :whistling::rotf: cowboy if you decide the 1 dollar a month is worth it welcome to the family

but its still odd that he has 140 compression in all but the cylinder he is having problems with im no expert on this but i dont think over oiled filter will cause a 130 comprision in one cyclinder but i could be wrong thats why i joined this family we have experts on here and its free for the asking

ok i went on a search on flebay pinwalls stuff and found a set of carbs for an 05 to 07 RSTD does anyone know if they are the 32 mm carbs i would need to do the carb swap for my 99 RSTD so i would (could) try to catch some of those 1st genners if it is and will work i can get them for 89.00 plus shipping just have to save up for that maybe by next week then come the intake boots and other stuff needed

i dont need a tow to the shop i need to chase that front wheel even if its only for 1 block i can act like im chasing a 1st gen :rotf: -
yea and out of 2" square tubing to boot but that would be a nice addition to the shop

that is cool but what is the wheight rating and i dont think those casters would last long with the weight of our bikes you know those 2nd gens would wear them out from trying to get them to go faster :whistling::whistling:
