    that's a good question im not sure about the 99 RSV but others will chime in that are more knowledgeable on this and welcome to the form this place has a great bunch of nut cases here hope you will fit in + its the best 12 bucks i ever spent

    well ive got a 1st gen in the line up for 2nd gear problems only i havent had any of them yet and UT is a long way from MS coast ifn i had the time and money i would come and get em but i dont have either i just wish that last part was a joke

    im thinking a cage and to lose 2 1/2 in the tranny could be cooling lines to the rad. or front seal in tranny could even be rear seal that would make more sense if rear wheel drive and rear seal going bad tail of tranny is always down when climbing elevation if front wheel drive check cv boots on axle shaft on both sides tell him to buy extra fluid and check every 100 mi.

    no one told me about the last ride of the season when is that and for what season summer fallll springg i think winter is the only short ride season we have and its only 2 too 3 weeekkkss long not enough time to fix things

    thanks i will do that im also ordering skydocs spring kit the oem is real week i can push the bike in gear took the cover off and watched it and its almost like its not grabbing at all no pressure on the plates

    Thank you Earl for the pic i have had the left cover off once but never looked at or noticed the carb adjustment as for the funds im hoping to be able to order the clutch spring upgrade on Friday or Saturday so i can install it by Thursday of next week have a great day on your Birthday Day today :cool10:

    i would stick with the sea foam and very little gas staybol is really only good for short term storage in the ethanol gas ask me how i know after 500.00 later (weed eater, chain saw, lawn mower, and carb on 87 Mazda B-2000)

    yes this is for the 2nd gen i was going to ride the RSTD to work today and never made it out of the neighborhood and im also thinking my brakes are stuck from sitting so long that when i took the first ride around the block the other day i pulled the lever and they felt like they did not want to release so i will be draining the fluid and disassembling the calipers for a closer inspection i have checked out all the stuff you sell and my wish list is very long but short on funds i will probably order the clutch spring kit at the end of this week to shorten my birthday Christ-mass anniversary gift list of i wants for the wife as for the 1st gen i rode it in today and it runs good except for the idle is to low and wants to die all the time but thats a sync thing i told my wife the more i buy the less she has to get me i thought that would work ill wait till shes finished being mad at me before i ask though:whistling: :rotf:

    that is exactly what i get does not happen on my desktop its XP work computer is XP and i get it on that my laptop is win 7 it gets it but wife's, son, and daughter is running 7 and don't get it on their computer something very strange is going on
