    The Yamaha engineers ,what were they thinking , That you have to remove the Gas tank to reach the rad cap,what they ran out of ideas where to have an extension,,,,, AS IF,,, The 1st Gen is easier to Maintain and yes I do miss the 1st Gen It's definately a Sport Tourer in my books But than The 2nd gen is much comfortable to ride even if up here Im called as a Wanna Be Harley

    The fluid came from the overflow I replaced the the fuse added fluid, all is well , The fan works freely

    What would make a rad Fan fuse blow? It wasnt a nice site, Was sync the carbs and I look down and fluid all over the place Went to check the fuse and its blown

    What are the dates on yours, When I purchsed this used 2001 with about 50% tread gone I see no cracking on the avon tire it says 0808

    Hooked up the gps and went riding, The speedo say 120 kph(74.5 MPH) and the gps 110 kPH(68.3 MPH) I see I wont be getting speeding tickets

    Towing this Fibro concept Trailer ,I dont feel like its behind me, My question to you is how much air pressure do I put in these tires, I see that the tires on this trailer have Carisle Sport and Max pressure is 90 psi

    I have always loved my avon tires on the 1st Gen and Love them with this 2nd Gen I have enough tread for my trip to Don's Maintenance Day I was planning to get my tires done there You members with the 2nd Gens have a variety of tires .What the max mileage you got from your front and rear tires and what make are they I know that when I had the avons on the rear average wa 12,000 miles on the rear A little past the wear bars
