  1. Nah,you didn't kill the hunt, you just made it a real "CHALLENGE" er.....
  2. Condor,If no one has claimed the last brace,I"ll take it if it's the aluminum one....
  3. I'd send it to the tv show Fear Factor.Somebody would eat it.........
  4. We use the free AVG and so far it seems to work, although it let in a Venture Virus and now I can't get off this site whenever I'm home.
  5. Thanks for all the hard work Don....I was gone for a few days so I didn't know the site was down. It's probably on my dial up end,but when I first got on the site,it took a longer time to load. Now that I'm on it, seems just as fast as always.
  6. Well this Challenger is proving to be a tough one.Only found one dealer that has one and it's on the showroom floor. It's going to be real tough to get the bike in there. It's in the back of the showroom and I can't even get a good shot thru the window.
  7. Now that sounds like a heck of an idea...I think that would work.
  8. OK Lonna, you talked me into the "earthquake" cheescake.Never had it,but it sounds like it would be right up my alley. And maybe the peanut butter cup cheescake.Shari say's she will be willing to assist you in the kitchen.Let us know what we can bring.
  9. Lonna, nothing fancy here.I vote for good ole plain cheesecake..Because that's the easiest to make,I would hope you would take this into consideration when cutting my piece... Thanks for doing this...You rock.
  10. A1bummer,glad you got it resolved. You should know that dealing with the Wisconsin DMV is like dealing with the IRS.Talk to 5 people and get 5 different answers. When we ordered a collector plate for our bike,2 people at the DMV told us they were not available for bikes.I had to point out in the application that this was a option...Still haven't got the plate yet,but Rome wasn't built in a day..
  11. Thanks Brad,Hope you guys are feeling better...
  12. [Posted by Snaggletooth] In the early 90's I was offered the chance to become a Safety Director. Spent 14 years in that field working for swinging meat haulers and a cryogenic company. Never thought I'd see the day when I'd have a $110,000 tractor pulling a $223,000 cryogenic tanker with $800.00 cargo on board and still make a profit! Strange world. I pulled for Air Products for 12 years.I didn't burn that bridge when I left,so I could keep getting LIN to use at my kids school to do tricks at Adventure Day....:whistling:
  13. Rich,ya got me by a few years.I 've been driving semi for 28 years.Every thing from 28'pups to 13 axle superloads...Currently pulling a reefer.(hate it) but it has good insurance. PS...Have you seen the video of the oversize load that tried to go thru the I-90 tunnel in Boston..I guess it happened within the last 2 weeks.
  14. For the 1st gens,is everybody using the Avon Venom tires?? These would be the non-radials..I want to make sure I order the right ones.
  15. Great job Joe.....What's next?????????? WE got 1 foot out the door.....:detective:
  16. What,that's not even one a year...What's her problem ?:stirthepot::rotf:
  17. Brian, great write-up..I'm still trying to decide whether to get Lasik or try some new shades.
  18. All the cops around here must have been tipped off.Every time I pulled into a donut shop on the bike, all the cops took off.:confused24:
  19. GG,very thorough write up and lots of good info.I printed this out for our elderly next door neighbor who Shari helps take care of..He just had ear surgery to repair some of his hearing loss and is going to be refitted for new aids within the next month,so this will be good info for him to read.I do know that he might not want to give up his local hearing aid specialist because she is very attractive. At least we know there is nothing wrong with his eye sight.:)
  20. I"ve seen old tires do this, but you said they were new last year,so unless they were old stock,I would think this is not normal. The Dunlops on my bike are doing the same thing, but the PO couldn't remember when he changed them last.:confused24:My tires are wore out anyway,so Im changing them in the next week and going to put on Avons..
  21. I don't know about any of this, but I was going to sugest retorqueing the Dorfman bolt..
  22. Splitting lanes is one of the the stupidest things you can do while riding a bike. IMHO..To put yourself in such a vulnerable position on two wheels, your just asking for trouble.
  23. Joe,really neat patch and yes,Shari loved it. I got to tell you, that monument is really sharp looking...
  24. OK, Wisconsin riders here ya go..:cool10: High temps this weekend,58 degrees....
