  1. For those of you who have ordered and received their deflectors, I just thought id pass this info on to you. I just tried this on my set and it does a great job of maintaining the shine. It brought the shine back to when it was new. http://eagleone.com/images/spacer.gifhttp://eagleone.com/images/spacer.gif http://eagleone.com/images/products/Never_Dull_Polish.jpg
  2. I don't know if anyone else saw this or not but this ought to stress the importance of safe riding in a group (ie staggering) and maintaining a proper following distance... I think its amazing that more were not critically injured! http://www.komonews.com/news/local/59860797.html Hope they all come out okay.
  3. Anyone here "Darksided" their bike? "Darkside" = car tire on rear of bike. I have seen vids and done lots of research on this. Stronger sidewalls. Longer treadlife. I have talked to a few people on a Roadstar forum that I belong to about it. Lots of people say it cant be done or its to dangerous....I have seen underbike camera footage showing bikes cornering sharply and maintaining tread contact with the road and showing that radial tires actully "round out" a bit as you corner thus maintaining that contact patch. Found lots of vids about it on YouTube.
  4. I just wanted to extend my compliments to you Don for the great work you do and for all your efforts in maintaining this first class forum. I particularly appreciate your skill, tact, wisdom and levelheaded approach in moderating this site. You seem to chime in at the right time with care and consideration to all while encouraging and maintaining respectful freedom of expression and opinion. Your efforts undoubtedly foster the sense of family, respect and kindred spirit by way of example and have not gone unnoticed. I thank you my friend and look forward to meeting you some day, perhaps at the 08 rally if not sooner. Cheers to you Don! Charlie
