  1. Glad everything worked out for you Brad. All in all a few seconds could have made for a far less happy ending so the main thing here is that you are OK.
  2. after opening the link I gave back in post #10 you select either of the two options in the bottom of the left pane. The marked as CCleaner Free, no support.
  3. I have had similiar issue's. and this is what I have done. In you internet browser go > tools > internet options > browsing history settings > view files > select all > delete. Go to this web site http://www.piriform.com/CCLEANER and download the free version of CCleaner Then go to this website http://www.piriform.com/defraggler and down load the free version of Defraggler ( I find it is more thourgh then windows defrag) run both programs alternating between them a couple of times. Last go into CCleaner and find the program registry fix and run it. I have followed these steps many times and had very good success with it. Please Note I am not a PC Guru this is just something I have found after numerous dead end try's and lots of trial and error with other methods, and the above steps has so far worked the best for me . I also have a program called pest patrol that works well for some stuff.
  4. If you have children or grandchildren you NEED to watch this. I had no idea this could happen from taking pictures on the blackberry or other smartphone. It's scary. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N2vARzvWxwY]Smartphone pictures pose privacy risks - YouTube[/ame]
  5. A tourist asks a Newfoundlander: "Why do scuba divers always fall backwards off their boats?" To which the Newfoundlander replies: "Lord thunderin' Jesus, you must be stunned as me arse. If they fell forwards, they'd still be in the ruddy boat!"
  6. Would have loved to be there Carl, but saddly I must be at work.
  7. Yeh but they are the most effecient machine out there. They make the most amount of noise, while using the least amount of fuel, without the side effects of power.
  8. :sign yeah that:During a big family dinner my Daughter in law will sit there texting through dinner, in the mean time my grandson is tossing food all over the place, which she just conveniently ignores and this really iritates me. When we were kids we were not even allowed to answer the phone if it rang during dinner.

  22. I found this software program for GPS's. It is a route planner that is supposed to be compatible with both Garmin and TomTom and works in conjunction with Google earth and Google maps. You are supposed to be able to plot out your route and then upload it to your GPS. I am curious If anyone is familiar with it and have tried it. Here is the link to tyre's home page http://www.tyre.tk/ It would seem to me (unless I misunderstood) that you would not have to keep updating your gps maps either if using this program. I have an old TOM TOM that I thought I would try it out on
  23. Not again already. Man your ageing faster than compost. Oh well :confused24:I quess I am just going to have to wish you another Happy Birthday,.......AGAIN!!!
