  1. So how come you are already into the antifreeze
  2. Maybe each person that gets that tire should initial it before sending it back so we can see how many times it goes around:rotfl:
  3. I started to read this to my wife - She say's I sent this to her before - Isaid she needs to hear it again. . . . . . .Did I happen to mention . . . Hospital Visiting Hours are 10 AM to 8 PM
  4. Just to throw a wrench in here. Not that they don't look impressive and I certianly do not want to rain an anyones parade. But they have started using them in the mirrors of big trucks and at night, speacially if it is raining I find them a distraction making it difficult to look in the mirror and see behind you, so I am inclined to question the safty factor. Then again maybe that is just me.
  5. Wasn't that made into a movie by Malt Dizzy
  6. Chances are you should be blaming Marcarl. He wants to plow snow so bad he is probably praying for it as we speak. But don't tell TOM he really HATES SNOW and I would not want a little thing like snow to ruin their friendship:innocent-emoticon:
  7. Rock and Marsh :rotfl: Just kidding I have been to the east coast several times but never NFLD., YET. Chances are you should find all sorts of bed and breakfast places.
  8. I know Steve meant well despite the fact that his timing was a little off. He is just not the I told you so type of person. I too believe strongly in wearing a helmet and have had falls were a helmet has saved my bacon. Yet there have been times when riding states, that have no helmet law, were I have thrown caution to the wind and rode without, simply because it feels so darned good. With regards to road rash, some have said that they can live with that. Keep in mind though that even road rash can be lethal as uncontrollable infection can set in and infection is becoming harder to combat every day. I do however believe strongly that if you have children and loved ones who depend on you, that you owe it to them, to protect yourself as much as possible in whatever you do, be it work or play.
  9. I tried .....started getting the shakes real bad. :shock3:
  10. Working afternoons I just do not get on at the right time. Usually a bit after everyone has left.
  11. I thought this was a PG site! . . . . What is with the 4 letter words BOB ........were is a moderator when you need one .......SHEESH
  12. Sorry to hear all the bad news. It really sucks when insurance co's and government have no problem picking one's pockets clean but have no compassion, when it comes to paying out, but would rather look for loop holes to get out of or delay paying.
  13. Thanks for posting Tom. My association with Dan both on line and in person have been nothing less than the best. Please keep us all up to date as much as possible. As you can see he is loved by all here and all want to see him up and healthy ASAP.
  14. I thought Charlie had them annually As for myself I have had three. The one in 2007 with my venture, One 35 years ago when an on coming truck turned left in front of me, to enter a parking lot and one 36 years ago which was actually more of a wipe out during an MX race. The one 36 years ago was the worst I ended up on crutches which slowed me down, giving some friends the oppurtunity to blindside me with a girl, who somehow managed to get me to slip a ring on her finger, which is still there today. In all Honesty I love her as much, if not more, today as I did then.
  15. It may not have been the best timing, but concern for friends and loved ones come out in many forms and not always at the best of times. Certianly not something to argue over at a time like this. Lets just all hope that Dano pulls through this without any negative side effects. Having met Dano in person several times and getting to know him on this site for all he has done and the help he has offered, I for one as I am sure everyone here, feels that Dan deserves every possible chance of complete recovery and look forward to seeing him up and about quickly. :fingers-crossed-emo :fingers-crossed-emo :fingers-crossed-emo
  16. Only one Charlie
  17. Switch your wiring as shown and it will work fine Run a wire from bat positive to fuse now run one from the fuse to relay terminal 30 From terminal 87 run a wire to your horns ( for all of the above 16 gauge wire would be ok 14 gauge would give a little extra safty margin) The negative side of each horn can be grounded to a point of the bike frame near each horn Connect a small short jumper wire from terminal 30 to terminal 86 on the relay. ( This will feed constant bat pos to terminal 86) Take the wire that originaly ran from the horn button to the original horn, and connect it to terminal 85 on the relay. (pushing the horn button will ground this terminal activating the relay) Some relays only have 4 terminals some have 5. either will work fine. The relay with 5 terminals has one marked 87A in most case's and it is Normally Closed and works opposite to terminal 87 which is Normaly Open. In other words if you hook your horns to terminal 87A they will blast continuesly until you push the horn button.
  18. Glad everything worked out for you Brad. All in all a few seconds could have made for a far less happy ending so the main thing here is that you are OK.
  19. after opening the link I gave back in post #10 you select either of the two options in the bottom of the left pane. The marked as CCleaner Free, no support.
  20. I have had similiar issue's. and this is what I have done. In you internet browser go > tools > internet options > browsing history settings > view files > select all > delete. Go to this web site http://www.piriform.com/CCLEANER and download the free version of CCleaner Then go to this website http://www.piriform.com/defraggler and down load the free version of Defraggler ( I find it is more thourgh then windows defrag) run both programs alternating between them a couple of times. Last go into CCleaner and find the program registry fix and run it. I have followed these steps many times and had very good success with it. Please Note I am not a PC Guru this is just something I have found after numerous dead end try's and lots of trial and error with other methods, and the above steps has so far worked the best for me . I also have a program called pest patrol that works well for some stuff.
  21. If you have children or grandchildren you NEED to watch this. I had no idea this could happen from taking pictures on the blackberry or other smartphone. It's scary. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N2vARzvWxwY]Smartphone pictures pose privacy risks - YouTube[/ame]
  22. A tourist asks a Newfoundlander: "Why do scuba divers always fall backwards off their boats?" To which the Newfoundlander replies: "Lord thunderin' Jesus, you must be stunned as me arse. If they fell forwards, they'd still be in the ruddy boat!"
  23. Would have loved to be there Carl, but saddly I must be at work.
  24. Yeh but they are the most effecient machine out there. They make the most amount of noise, while using the least amount of fuel, without the side effects of power.
  25. :sign yeah that:During a big family dinner my Daughter in law will sit there texting through dinner, in the mean time my grandson is tossing food all over the place, which she just conveniently ignores and this really iritates me. When we were kids we were not even allowed to answer the phone if it rang during dinner.
