  1. Would a bait shop qualify as a "sporting goods shop" ?
  2. Nice ride. Clean, low miles It will be the best $12 you ever spend. Lots of great info & people. I like the other toys too
  3. Not sure I want it velcro'ed to me. I was looking for my best option that would be easy for me or a passenger to use. So far I have the main lead velcro'ed to the plastic divider that separates the battery from the rear fender. I can't seem to find a spot for the controller that is easy to use and looks good. I went right to the battery posts but I'm not sure I like it not being switched. Why did you up the fuse size? won't that let the wires get too hot before blowing the fuse in case of a short ? or worse burn you!
  4. You're in Macomb... You could come here to my house and we could go from here to meet up with them. You'll be coming past here anyway. I know exactly where larry's talking about, we make that ride all the time. It's almost an hour from here, so if we leave here at 8:30 we'd be ok. If that sounds good PM for details or call, my cell is in my profile and VR assistance.
  5. I'm going to install the wiring for my Widder heated vest with dial controller and was wondering how others routed the wiring and where you mounted the controller. This is all going on my '01 RSV. I want to be able to use it for rider or passenger.
  6. Is there one left in America ?
  7. North Territorial starts on the east in Plymouth and goes west to M-52. Owosso is correct, there is a great old train station there. 3 converging tracks. The train station could be a good spot to meet up with you. As far as timing goes, What time could you be there Saturday morning?
  8. Actually, when we leave Ludington take a look at going thru Irons to Dublin to Wellston then up to M-55 it's a much nicer ride on 2 lane paved roads. There's the Dublin store in Dublin that has the best and biggest Jerky selection in the state. Our hunting cabin is not far from there. As for food; A good family style diner for any meal is always a good choice. Fast food if we must.
  9. Looks good Joe. I'm ready to roll.
  10. Just pullin your leg buddy I wouldn't do that, after all, Joe paid for my room
  11. Why don't we head South into the warmer weather ?

  13. Do you have a route planned yet?
  14. Always good to have another rider from nearby join the forum. I'll be watching for him so we can give him the :ORANGE: he deserves.
  15. Try looking for what you need at http://WWW.MONOPRICE.COM You'd be surprised at what you may find there.
  16. No I'm not, but you dropped your credit card at lunch Sunday.... Thanks for the room
  17. I remember seeing that guy at Don's ! I think he said he was from Austraila or something
  18. Booked into the Presidential suite. Now all we need is for mother nature to co-operate
  19. Looks comfy. Add AC and stereo and she'll be riding like the Queen.
  20. OK....FINE.....be that way. A FRieND woulda said OK BUDDY, whatever ya want
  21. Naw, that would be a major step backwards for a 2nd Gen Rune.
  22. That's the part that I don't understand. When it switches to F and starts counting it is very erratic, I may go 5 miles and it shows 20, the next time I may go 5 miles and it shows 120. What's up with that? I get gas after riding 10 miles or so and it takes 4.8 - 5.2 gallons.
  23. Would ya like to borrow my chisel and power washer Aren't you glad you had a windshield !
  24. 3/4" plywood should do it. When I have a load that extends onto the tailgate I don't rely on the support cables, I use ratchet straps from the latch pin to the latch. Buying another project?
