FYI, You might have that other bike in the garage that might be on the list? I did not see any RSTD or RSV on it though. problaby should recall them for that cassette player though. http://www.motorcyclistonline.com/motorcycle_recalls/index.html

*lol* I think I am done, BUT I know what he means , after ordering something and your hoping it will be there on Friday so you can play on the weekend. Ohh NO, instead it will show up on Monday! I am thinking of the chrome diaphragm covers though now. but after talking with you maybe not. sure would look good in that area though! Jeff

I just wanted to say thank you to John (jlh3rd) for starting the adding gauges thread and coming up with this great idea a while back to our 2nd gens. and giving the idea to PONCH for coming up with a full on-board kits as well, Also, thank you to VGoose for his write-up to better inform us on how to add all of this stuff. Freebird for finding the gauge sets that most of us are using ,this is an amazing place that it all came together with folks putting there minds together for this project. forgive me as I am sure there were other folks as well to make all this come together as well. Heck it took me 3 or 4 trys to get my water temp fixed, but now there is no more leak, this was one of my MANY winter projects on my bike this winter , I think I might be almost done with them , still another month or so until I can ride. THANKS TO ALL OF YOU ! And your efforts for making this happen! (sure was an awesome idea to get rid of that wasted space) I wonder how many cassette players are sitting on shelf's now? Jeff

Kent, How do you do the blue/green light set up over the engine on QuickSilver? Is there a kit for that? Not sure if you ever did a write up about them or not. I think that looks very cool on your bike. Thanks for any info. Jeff

Did you OR have you got any closer to figuring out what the problem might be yet? Jeff

Ponch, A $2.97 CHAMPION PLUG (Crush Washer) Fits Perfect with only a slight side to side movement, about half as much as the non-fouler crush washer and no side to side moment at all with the #35 above it. Found them in an ACE hardware store here in Iowa. Darn HUGE plug! It is also a 18MM Size in the book. I also found the Number 35 O-rings at Lowe's I have not received anything yet. If I do I will mail that parts back to you. Part Number is 515 D15Y and yes I am using the #35 above it for extra protection, not sure I needed it though now? Don't tell VGoose, I like Champion's now PERFECT FIT

Same here as CMIKE. I have a separate account for paypal with always a ZERO balance. when I buy something and use paypal I add Just that amount for the day to that account. ( I can do on-line transfer) then it gets pulled and back to ZERO! Been working great!

Same as Bommer last year, My # 3 coil was dead or weak. Note: after sending my coil to VGoose he says it was only the plug cap. (found replacements at Pinwall about 25/29? bucks for 4 of them) If you look under were the 1 and 3 coils are there are the wires that connect to them and they face down to the ground collecting all kinds of road dirt and grim. Just a thought. Jeff

Don't think so, these go on the tank. not the other mod like most of us did with removing the cassette player. OR maybe I am misunderstanding you?

Just for the heck of it. have you tried taking you fuel cap off to hear if it makes a swish sound? and maybe your vent is clogged? Just a simple thing to look at, As I had this happen 2 years ago. and my bike would just die out on me. come to find out the whole time my vent was rusted closed. Drove my crazy probably not it, but worth a simple check. run the bike with out the cap on for a few. Jeff
