  1. When my Convertion was done, all they did was mount and set the original sensor at 8 thousands from the ring on the drive shaft. works perfect.
  2. And.... Call John Lee and ask him to make sure they have one of there Custom Trike Covers there in stock for that model! There excellent Quality and fit great! there is even bottom tie's as well that will keep it on. Now go and try and sleep! Sounds like you have all your bases covered. Jeff
  3. One thing to remember is to make sure to figure the right distance. for the chock , (not sure if it is bolted down) when hauling the bike there when in 2 wheel form. and the distance after the rake kit is installed. (Length) so if these chock's need holes drilled maybe drill another set for the distance after the conversion is done. (make since?) bring the cordless drill with you ! Jeff
  4. I still carry a small compressor but I have been using this stuff for 3 years now with great results. I also use it in all our cars now as well. http://www.ride-on.com/newsDetails.asp?nid=45 I like this stuff because it brings my worry level down a bit on longer trips. Now you will have folks saying don't us it I guess. but this stuff works for me! Still no flats:scratchchin:. Ummmm Jeff
  5. Spear, *LOL* Nope, thanks for the tip! I probably would have drilled like shown
  6. Think I found it. It is 272-710 it looked like 277 to me on the pdf. http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2102795 Oops, still looking that one is RED we need Orange. Nope I guess it was red after reading some of there post Well, I'm getting older too, so we may both get it wrong! However, I think that, while the turn signal lens is amber and the new jewel lens is red, ambient light shining through the amber lens and the jewel may have an orange tint. At night, the jewels shine ruby red. One person said something about using a single LED light.. Looking into that as well. Jeff
  7. Carb Synch.....$380.00....and the Service Manager sez it will take 4 hours of Labor !!! Is there not laws for this kind of stuff? *WOW* I will do it for free and the 12 Min's of labor as well.

  11. Good point Brad. I never thought of that. mine weighs in at 1260 lbs on the grain scales now.
  12. The rear fender tips that will be close to the outside dimensions at the lowest point is 7.5 inches. The bottom of mufflers are at about 5 inches or so, but there inward so it should not be a problem. Any other Questions feel free to call or ask away. Parts that you will be able to sell or give away: 1 - Fender (They use the Original Chrome Tip from Bike. and the tail light and supply one of each and rebuild the older one. to LED) 2- Saddle bags , You will now have more room then both saddle bags put together plus the top trunk as well. 3 - Rear Tire Complete with drive shaft (they will be using there own D/S) 4 - Both Rear Blinkers 5- Rear Shock 6 - Add there trailer hitch as you will not ever be able to mount an after market one if in the future you decide to want to pull a trailer. I pull a piggy-backer with mine. 7 - they will be more they remove any other add on parts from the rear. And I am sure there is more to bring home. they will have a pile waiting for you. I sold most of my extras on this site and eBay to pay for some of the extra's I had wanted on the kit. you will be looking at around 12.5 to 14 K Make sure you will have enough room in the trunk of your car to bring all that stuff home. Good Luck and you should not be able to sleep for about a month now Jeff
  13. Wally, I just searched ebay until I found a good seller and the best price , About Half. Yes , USE Larry's bracket, and if you do not know the relay stuff to well , get his harness Larry knows his stuff about relays. as I am ALWAYS emailing him on what wire goes ware he never has any problems in helping you. The Stables are a wonderful loud A$$ Horn! Jeff PS , DO NOT BUY the harness from the supplier (It will not work as advertised until you change and remove stuff.) Larry's will REALLY be plug&play
