150 unloaded. With wife 5000 lbs loaded without wife 400 lbs loaded
-
This is one thing to consider. Just checked and the average led is at full brightness in less than 10 microseconds. Actually some are at full brightness in nanoseconds. This makes them at least 1000 times faster. Remember the 250 milliseconds which is 1/4 of a second, for an incandensent lamp to reach full brightness. So if it take 1/4 of a second for a normal bulb to reach full brightness and another 1/4 second for the driver behind me to hit the brakes. He would have been on his breaks 1/4 of a second earlier with LEDs as the brakes lights. Just something to think about. Besides, I think there purty....
-
One other thing to consider here. I have all leds. The flash rate is fast. But it works very well with the leds. The reason for the slower flash rate on incandesent bulbs is the time it takes the bulb to reach full brightness. About 1/4 of a sec. then another 1/4 of a second for it to cool/dim. Hence the 1 second/50% duty cycle. An LED reachs full brightness in microseconds.

What's money??? I'm married AND have a bike....

That's a good question. Scott, your self-cancelling still work?
-
Yes, a resistor is a load equalizer. Problem is if you put 2 loads going to ground they are not additive. With 2, 4 ohms resistor/load eqoualizers tied to ground you now have a 2 ohm load which is almost a short. May want to do what Scott said.
-
Sounds like you need a heavy duty load equalizer. What make are you using? Another thing that I use is a 12 ohm 20 watt resistor tied to the rear blinkers. 1 resistor per side tied to the blinker wire and ground. Your. You not using a run/turn and brake adapter are you?
-
You should only need 1 equalizer. Try removing the second one you installed. Does the equalizer have a rating on it?

We bought this one several years ago. it has a Vac attachment for stuff also. You can use them for blowin out the garage of dust and spiderwebs. http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=productDetail&productId=172220-163-51591&lpage=none

IT would if you go over pressure. I use a compressor, but set the regulator for the pressure I want. I have never gone over 35 cause she gets a little stiff in the rear after that. Most of the time its running around 15 by myself and 30 when its 2 up. -

I have had the links on for 16k or more. The shock blew while they are on it. So about half of the shocks life were with the links on it. -
I have both sets from J&M. I think the cheap ones actually have better bass. I got the 200 dollars one hoping i could understand my wife better. Didn't work . with sound or comprehension. :rotf: But if we wear earplugs I can understand her much better and still hear the music good.

I remember reading that it has been more than once for a couple of people here. But they wound up calling yamaha directly if I remember right.

Flat Out 8118 E. Washington St. Indianapolis IN 46219 Phone: 317-881-6686, 317-882-2453 Fax: 317-890-9120 Did you try those numbers Rich ? -
I got it at PepBoys. The package said "Custom Chrome Flexible Interior/Exterior Molding" clear package with a blue label and the picture of a taillight on it. It 1/4 inch. They had 2 thickness so I got the thinner stuff. It helps to have the stuff very warm. it bends easier. Clean anything your goona use it on with Denatured Alcohol. I also used a small pair of side cutters to cut it a an angle Paul, I did not use any glue, but I did form it for the tight curves. It didn't raise up yet. the trick is cleaning the surface so the 3m tape will stick. and formin it while its warm. Warm being like warming it with a hair dryer.

Modified the breather tonight. I think it looks a little better then before.

I had put this on the site before it crashed. An inexpensive way to add some chrome to your bike. Takes a little practice at cutting but works good.

Latelly I have been hittin that rev limit more and more. And the bike is just getting started. Guess I have to get one. And the comment about a HD outrunnin an RSTD or RSV. When I see it I'll beleive it. Passed a stage 3 the other day. Heard him hit the throttle wide open. Still left him in the dust. He wasn't there no more at 120 and the RSV was still pullin away. Maybe he broke it. -
You Should be careful to keep each rod and spring together and place them back in the shaft they came out of. The nuts on the bottom are calibration nuts and each one is calibrated in place.

Glad your still with us. This is true of any vehicle. The more weight the longer its going to take to stop. You try to remember it but during an emergency you do your best and the rest is Newtons law .
