You left one option out of the poll. That being, " Yes always, because I am forced to by a gestapo like State, who is considering a new helmet law that says you can ride without your helmet IF you pay for a $200 permit" ... Talk about a stupid law. -
The better question, how often do you catch yourself waving at motorcycles while driving the cage? Come on, don't tell no fibs. I know you do it. It's funny. When I'm in my Teeshirt and my Tahoe, most will wave back. But.... When I'm workin on Friday and Saturday I wear a black suit and tie, I drive either my Buick or the bosses cars ( CL-Mercedes or his wifes Bentley Mulsanne) I don't get anyone that waves back. Mostly they just look at me funny.

I woke this morning with Brad and Lona on my mind. Texas sure is going to be a better place with those two living there. I've only had the pleasure of spending time with them four times, but you will never meet a more genuinely kind person. I rode down there Tuesday to both say "good bye for now" and to pick up a lift adapter that was the deal of a life time. I got to see Brad ride that Harley as he took Ron's daughter for one last ride on it. I even got some pics on my IPhone Now to figure out how to get them here. It was a good sight. I'll not tell about the jumper cables:stickpoke: LOL. You know Brad, I had a sticker on my boat, right by the ignition, that said, "Turn the gas on dummy"... My wife bought that for me after getting stranded on the lake with a "break down"... She found the problem about a half hour into it. I'll never live that down. Anyhow, I sure hope you two find all that you want, need, and more in the Lone Star State. You certainly deserve it bro. And you guys and gals in Texas take good care of them, our loss is your gain. PS: on the way home I found out that my bike will good 33.4 miles after the "low fuel" light comes on.... Don't ask...

About 8 years ago, while my son was living with his mother in NC, he was sent to spend the sumer with his favorite uncle in FL, whom just happens to be openly gay. I have met the dude several times along with his long term boy friend. I really liked both of them, they were comfortable in their own skin and happy being who they were. Well heres the rub... About three years ago, because of his behavior, my son was sent to life with me. Through a series of unfortunate events with his brothers, we found out he had been molested multiple times by non-other than the uncles boy friend... And now I know the uncle as well. Needless to say I did every thing I could to try and get these two vermin arrested. I call the police in Mi, NC, and FL. As well as the FBI and The Center For Missing and Exploited Children (who actually did the most to help me) Nobody wanted to open the can of worms that it would take for a conviction, because it would take a multi-state prosecution to be effective. Because he was molested in two states and was living in another. So, now it's 2009, my son will be 18 in Feb of 2010. I get a phone call from a Detective in Hillsborough County FL. The Uncle was arrest for kiddie porn. When they went to serve the warrant for his PC, he actually had a young boy ( perhaps a run-away) in the house and they suspect molestation there as well. So they arrested him ( I now know he was a registered offender) and took his PC in for evidence. Set a 1.5 Million dollar bond. After investigating his PC they now have OVER 200 COUNTS against him. Remember the afore mentioned boy friend? He was already in jail for posession of weed and sexual assault of some type. Well they now have him on over 200 counts of kiddie porn as well!!... 2.5 million dollar bond! It breaks my heart to say it, but my son is part of their investigation of the porn. I am upset as you can imagine. If someone... Anyone would have tried to do something when I made my reports, they could have stopped this sooner and maybe saved some people from having to go through this. But in the end they got their arses. You can go to the Hillsborough County Jail web-site and see the charges ( if interested that is, I have the names) ... Please for the love of your children, WATCH WHO THEY ARE WITH!

Went of for a cruise today. Put on just under 100 miles. It was beautiful:thumbsup: Of coarse I was wearing my Arctic Armor... So I was good a cozy.

It's very accurate. The CFC program was just another handout for not one, but ALL of the people that got Stimulated early on. The car manufactures got a temporary boost is production. The car lots got a temporary boost is sales...very temporary. The financing companies got a run on car notes. And the Government got a huge boost in taxes, that will be even larger come tax season. That is one slick set up. I dig all of the controls available out there and the possibilities. I got a chance to meet and hang out with the guys that ride motocross in the Extremity Games. http://www.extremitygames.com/ Man, they use electric shifters, brake relocates, clutch less systems.... All kinds of cool stuff.

Oh boy.... Now I gotta wounder if it's slipping or not... I don't think so, but I've never had a G2. Only thing I have to compare it to is my G1 and thats a bird of a different feather.

Man, I like that temp/tac combo. Why has nobody built a replacement part for the chrome cover on the fuel tank? That would be a wonderful place for a set of gages or LED bars. I'm no engineer nor do I know anything about plastic molding. so I guess I'm just a dreamer.
