  1. I'm willing to bet that was one darned good feeling:thumbsup2: I got goose bumps just thinking about how you must have felt!
  2. AND THEY LEFT!!??
  3. Here it is two days later and I think I might have gotten hurt a bit. Think I pull a groin muscle. I was on the bike when he did this. He hit on the right side of the bike, pinning my ® leg in place with his body ( he went over his bars and was still a third of the way on it), while his moped lie against my bag. So I was very off center and could not get off the bike and had to hold myself, the bike, him and his moped up to keep us from tipping over. BTW this moron doesn't have a drivers license due to multiple DUIs... Who would have thunk it? I had to bite my lip and send him home. I don't deal with drunks too well when I'm in a good mood. As mad as I was it would have gotten real ugly real fast... And the wife says I can't kill anyone else till next summer . I guess I've reached my quota for this summer.
  4. Wow!! He must have driven on I-75 going north on the Fourth of July a few times. Very impressive indeed!
  5. :soapbox:My stupid arsed drunken neighbor crashed into me and scoot last night... ON A FREAKIN MOPED OF ALL THINGS! Got three nice scratches on my right side bag lid. All the way to the plastic. But heres the strange part....I did not break my foot off in his...well, you get where I was going with that. I was miffed to say the least, but he is still breathing.
  6. Good to hear bro, keep us updated. Here's to wishing you the best of luck on a new Job.
  7. Just saw two of these "morons" on my way home from working a shift in Birmingham. One was pretty good, but the other guy...I though he was going to be road burger. He would get up in his wheelie and the drift to the right. He just about lost control two or three times, as he crossed the white line onto the shoulder. My gen2 might be a bit slower... But I'll get there in one piece.
  8. Was out for a nice midnight ride last night. The weather was PERFECT. I rode about 200 miles around the old country roads. I noticed that in the dark, with the hight beams on, the dash lights are darn near blinding. I have got to do something to mute those lights. Any suggestions?
  9. Ok Annie, you owe me a new keyboard I spewed coffee all over this one.
  10. I hope I can help you calculate the total body area percentage quicly and easy. By using the "EMS Rule of Nine" you can do this easily. On an adult, percentages are figured thusly... head=9% Neck=1% Arms (each)=9% Torso (front)=18% Torso (rear)=18% Legs (each)=18% So but going from what you decsribed as effecting both legs, I would say you need aprox 1/4 of each leg to be effected to make up the 10% requirerment. With that being said, it is a shame you have to wait to be treated. Thank you Sir for your service and to ALL of you guys, WELCOME HOME!!! HOOAH!
  11. I'm working on a hitch mounted rod holder for my bike. I have two rod cases that are around four and a half foot long. One hold my fly rod and the other holds a two piece spinning rod and reel. I've thought about a four or five piece Orvis rod, but man that allot'a quid. My ridding partner has an old "Pocket Fisherman"...Works OK for bluegills but anything bigger tends to have him on the line.
  12. So I drove down to Eva Alabama on Monday to help my Bro In-law move. We turned around and drove home Tuesday morning. I was on US24 on that little section that dips down into GA from TN heading to Chattanooga. The ONLY RSV I spotted on the whole dang trip was around exit 169 head North/West. It was a purty blue and so shinny it almost hurt to look at. Who was it? Art~
  13. Lets not forget the 6-10 grand in tackle sitting in the boxes and bags.
  14. You and yours will be in our thoughts. Rest well knowing that any suffering and discomfort is over ( that is what got me through my moms death in Dec 08) I don't like to think about the way someones life came to an end, but rather, I like to think about they they LIVED.
  15. Once you get past the skeeters you got it licked. DEET is bad for you, but it will become you bestest friend. But once you get a good fish on the line YOU will be the one that is hooked... And if you thing motorcycling can get expensive, you ain't seen nuttin yet!
  16. Insurance is the biggest scam ever pulled on the people of the US.

  19. Found it!!! Think I heard my wife say that once.... It was under the fuel tank cover. There is a notch in the side of it so the cord can run through. Now I just got to find head sets.... Well, that and new brain buckets as well.

  24. I spotted a Red one on I-75 headed north around the Clio exit a few days ago. Couldn't tell much as I was headed south and there was a divider between us. I believe the driver was a black gentleman and I believe he had a female passenger. That red sure stood out and boy did it look clean.
