As I was scraping the ice off the windshield of the truck today I wasn't really thinking of AIR CONDITIONING my bike!!! I may re-visit the thread in a few months.

Modern motorcycle tires are designed for the torque produced by acceleration (rear) and braking (front). To reverse the intended installation position will cause rapid degeneration of tire life and performance (not to mention safety).

Yes. Better air flow and you can clean them instead of trying to get a little more out of your dirty paper filter.

A lot of bikes!!!!

I rode down to Port Dover Ontario for the Friday the 13th event. Around 11:30 am the bikes were backed up (stop & go) for about 10 miles. No snow in sight.

I'm really glad to hear you are okay!!!! Bikes can be replaced, you can't. May the "mixed feelings" be replaced by "fond memories" as you straddle your new ride.
