  1. I have the larger HF unit. Got it last year to clean my carbs. It worked OK. I found a better basket that is better than the supplied one. Got it from a bathroom section at some store. I have been using Slime Green in it. Seemed to work fairly well. This is a household type cleaner. Was recommended by other users. I ran all the parts through multiple times. It has a 480 second timer on it for max on one cycle. Also used silocone to seal around upper lip of tank, I found on line somewhere this was a source of water leaking into electronics under tank. 2. And you are the winner !! I will get it packaged up & sent to you soon. I just emailed DragonRider the profit from the auction which was $86.01 Paypal & Ebay got $13.98 Thank You, Gary
  3. Bump Ends at 6:45 pm EST Gary
  4. Jeff, I have a turn/cancel relay from a VMax you can have. It is very similar to 1st gen venture except start relay was not in this housing. You want it? I got it with some VMax parts I got a while back. Block wiring diagram attached & couple of pictures of it. Block diagram looks like it is encased with starter relay, but troubleshooting area of manual shows it seperate. Gary
  5. 270867972557 380386790474 270852982857 180728725764 Some on ebay right now 1st one is in canada, but a good price, last one is from a vmax. Put the number in ebay search field, it's auction listing #. Gary
  6. Battery powered light is probably your only option. 120V into it means wiring, requires hole in safe wall, which will comprimise rire proof rating. You could probably rig up a switch so light is only ativated when safe is open easily. Gary
  7. Considering the related flasher problems which are enclosed in this module, I think you need to get another one. Ebay probably. I don't have a spare to part with. Gary
  8. It is actually the back of my paypal security key random # generator card. It adds an extra level of security to a paypal account. Gary
  9. Six piston calipers got here today and they are spotless. They came off a 2011 R1 with 45 miles on it that had its brakes upgraded. I got them for $155 with shipping. I now have 2 sets of six piston calipers, one set of Sumitomas, and these radials. I have leads on a machine shop locally to do the brackets, and another place nearby that does anodizing. Brackets aren't going to be real cheap, but I don't have any idea yet what they will run if I get some low quantities made. Considering 6061-651 Aluminum stock. It will be really simple to make two versions of the bracket, one for 83-85 Ventures (with 80mm mounts) & one for 86-93 Ventures (with 100mm mounts & maybe RSV's ). Rotor diameter differences will be very simple with same bracket. It looks like front brake lines would probably need replaced due to 15 deg angle on lower fittings may be a problem, if they will even reach caliper port. Pads will spread far enough for the 7.5mm wide rotors to fit in. The seal & piston kits for these calipers are much cheaper than others I have looked at for units that may need refurbished. Pictures have a credit size card in them for size indicator. Gary

  11. And I hear the voices in my head too. They say 1st gens are the fastest. Gary
  12. Come on guy's I know this has been requested in the near past & Freebird had quit making them. Remember, it's for some deserving kids. I am donating my cost when I bought this stand. More than 1 of you must want it. That's what makes an auction exiting. Gary
  13. Stereolithography is a fancy name for 3D printer. It is one of the types of 3D printers avaliable. I send 3D computer models out to a service that has these machines and get functional pieces back for various testing. Depending on the type of machine and materials used, the part can be quite functional. Gary
  14. My Mothers family was from that same area. Bennett was her maiden name. Gary
  15. Like virginity, That is easily cured. Come On Down !!! Gary
  16. Alrighty then, I have a set of 6 pot radials coming. Came off a 2011 bike with 45 miles on it, they upgraded brakes on it. I can 3D model the brakets, run Finite Element Analysis on them, then get a Sterolithography prototype made of one to see how fitment is. This is my day job basically. Actually the bracket doesn't look that bad to design. Gary
  17. Frank, I have an Iphone with Taptalk app on it, but I haven't sent a message yet that I know I did. All my replys here have been through PC. uthpda sent messages using taptalk Gary
  18. These are used to set torque per manual specs on all Ventures. $25.00 including US shipping $28.00 including Canada shipping. Every where else $31.00. Actually they have been available fairly continuously, but I got a new batch in today. The bike is under going brake surgery this winter and needs your support. These make really great tree ornaments. and can be used as stocking stuffer. http://www.venturerider.org/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=3582&title=steering-head-bearing-ring-nut-wrench&cat=33 Gary
  19. See comments above in red Next thing to check would be continuity through the starting circuit cut off relay(SCCOR). This is going to be as clear as mud as mum used to say. Since there is the 10 pin connector going into the Flasher relay assy, I am not comfy saying check from this pin to this pin. Look at the harness connector that plugs into this assembly. From schematics, it looks like the R/W & B/Y wire is the coil circuit for SCCOR. Unplug harness from SCCOR and put an Ohm meter across these 2 pins on the SCCOR. You should read around 100 ohms( may be up to 200 ohms. 0 ohms & infinite are bad). If you do read 100 ohms, this means coil is probably good. Put one jumper (clip lead) from 12V+ to the R/W terminal, Put another jumper (clip lead) from 12V- to the B/Y terminal. You should hear a faint click when coil energizes. You may not though, this is relay is buried in this assembly, next check will confirm it is working or not. Next there are 2 L/W wires in this same harness connector. Put ohm meter across these 2 L/W wires, it should read 0 ohms, disconnect one of the battery clip leads and it should go to infinite. Be careful the the energised leads in the tight space, ain't easy I know. Report back on this. Gary
  20. I have mislead you about grounding the L/W wire and the bike will crank, I'm sorry !!! See my comments in red, hope they are correct this time !! Gary
  21. I am donating a center stand for a RSV bike. The stand is listed on ebay at the following link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/170742183307?item=170742183307&viewitem=&vxp=mtr Write up on installing it is at following link: http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1427 Duration of this auction is through 12/11/2011 6:45pm EST approximately. Opening price is $99.99, buy it now for $249.99. Shipping is $15.00 to US lower 48 states. My ebay fee & paypal fee will be deducted from selling price and balance will be donated to St. Jude's Children's Hospital via DragonRider (Lewis Cramer). Decided to sell it through Ebay to try and get some more exposure for it. If you are interested in bidding on this and don't have an ebay account, PM me and we can figure a way to do this. I can't bid on my own item, but I have friends. Remember this is not only a center stand, its a donation for kids. Gary
  22. I made the schematics without the benefit of having an RSV to verify anything. Don't assume they are perfect. Put a meter on stuff in question To check. A good actor once said "Trust, but Verify" Gary
  23. Here is a couple of pictures of Starting Relay Assy. This box contains the starting relay, the flasher & cancelling relays. 10 pin connector going into it. About the size of a pack of cigarettes. Below reference to L/W wire is the one at the solenoid. If bike cranks when grounding the solenoid side of this connection, it is a start switch or related wiring problem. Gary

    Architect's

What format is the floor plan in? If you can get it into a DXF format I can drop it into Solid Edge 3D and extrude it out. It would give you a spatial type view. Somewhat like looking into it with roof removed from an isometric view. Not sure if I could export to a 3d pdf or not. It would be fairly quick to do. This would only be walls, no door or window representation at this point. Could of course be done, but more involved and time consuming. Gary
