    My friend Bobby was looking at the bikes a few days ago, and maid the commit that on the Venture I have car tire. On the kannon bike with a 350 chevy car eng I have a motorcycle tire. I told him I bought it that way, would change when the tire wears out. He said it was just a little irony there. LMAO Gregg

    Mine does alright with the 300hp, but now I drive very easy in the mountains. stay at or below the speed limit. I have already had the displeasure of being in a semi in the mountains with the brakes failing, because of the fellow driving was too lead footed to be driving a loaded semi in the mountains. Did fine going up hill but was completely stupid on the downhill side, let 80,000 pounds get to 70 mph in 50 mph area got the brakes hot and looked at me and said what do i do. up the escape ramp we went.     Well the truth is that by the time i was in the 8 th grade my shoe size was a 12 (of course that is about normal these days but not the) anyway the headmaster of the school i went to saw my feet one day and said we are going to have to call you foots. One of the girls in my class thought that was incomplete so she started calling my footsie and the name stuck. Now of course I would love to claim it was another body part, but oh well gonna have to go with the foot. Gregg

    No I ride this one, and my wife who generally says screw the back I ride my own, when this one fires up she is on the back. changed front wheel recently from spokes to solid.

    This my rig I was tell you about. I bought it last year it is a 1995 model, had fairly new tires on it. 7500 kw onan diesel gen set, I prefer diesel over propane and one 12 ft slide. auto leveling system It has a ton of basement storage, a Spartan chassis, dual gas and electric water heater, and everything is automatic. Full bath and queen bed in rear. Got it $10,000 cash from an individual. The tires on these are high dollar and really when they get past 6 years old you need to start thinking about replacing them, if they throw a cap it does a lot of damage to the coach. One of my valve extensions came loose and leaded down the tire ran slack and ruined it, did not come apart luckily, $434 for toyo 22.5. I also disagree with the statement about 2 happiest days, the day buy you and the day you sell. People that make that statement did not really want one when they bought it, or bought the wrong type for their use. We have had a motorhome for 20 years, pull type before that, and have enjoyed all, but this diesel pusher is the best. And a slide makes all the difference in the world. Gregg

    This year we purchased a Newmar Kountry Star 38 ft diesel pusher. After years of a gas burner i can tell you the diesel pusher is the way to go. i have to 300 hp cummins 8.3 liter and allison tranny going to little sturgis last year we got 10.3 mpg with the onan 7500 diesel genset running. On the way home it cool at night and I shut the gen down because we did not need the ac unit. averaged 13.5 mpg running 70 mph pulling my bike trailer. The last V10 ford i drove got 5 to 7 miles to the gallon at 55 to 60 mph. Most of the diesels have 22.5 tires(semi tires) on them which makes the much more stable driving. Also it has been my experience that diesel engines tolerate long periods of sitting than gas burners. Oh by the way the coach is a 95 model and had 70,000 miles on it. Just my opinion but I think you will be happy with the diesel. Gregg

    Have you checked the compression, on that side.

    Replace it with the original Yuasa, and it will be another 5 to 6 years before you have to replace again. I have never had any other brand last as long. Gregg

    Kumho up to 34,000 on this one, is getting close to the wear bars, but this tire is worn even all the way accross the tread, for the last 10,000 miles i have been running 28 to 30 psi. Going to start looking for another one. Unless someone has found something better. wish michelin made one in the right size. New avon cobra on frount a few weeks ago. Gregg:stirthepot:

    I got over 27000 miles on an avon cobra radial on frount, the back on the venture is where most have trouble getting good milege. gregg

    Have over 30,000 on the present kumho, no wobble have dropped to 28 to 30 lbs, rides better and better stoping grip, but no wobble at any speed. Have about 27,000 miles on the avon cobra radial on frount, going to order a new one shortly have on spot that the tread is getting low, must have slid it. Gregg

    I have a stainless II 45, you will love the kimber great guns. My brother and I were in the gun shop in adel, and I saw a couple of revolers I thought I might want. I asked the saleman about a trade, he told yes they would be happy to trade with me, but he told that it would be unwise to trade the kimber. Well I said out of cruriosity what would my kimber be worth, he 1000 sight unseen and deal when they saw the gun. Then again he stated they would be more than happy to trade, but you don't want to trade the kimber, they are only going up in value. The guy that appraises the gun said they are expected to double in the next five years. Then my brother told him I was just talking the kimber was not going anywhere.+ Gregg

    I use the yuasa batteries, put one in and replace 5 or 6 years down the road Have never had one go down in less than 5 years, had one last 7. Have never had to do any maintenance on one. They just last, so I don't look for anything different. If ain't broke then don't try to fix it! just my opinion Gregg

    I collect swords with the best of them, but how does that relate to my boss hoss midlife crisis. And yea i have thought about a v-max, more than once. and a corvette and a countach and more guns, er never mine got them. my wife said I can not have a girlfriend unless she cleans house, then she would consider it. can't afford any of it, so I guess i will just have to forget it. oh well one can think. gregg:fishin:

    I have to ask why do you want change to a 15 on the frount with side car, looks like to me it would be easier to raise the frount fender enough to get a 195/60/16 under it. But I think a bike with side car is not going to handle well with ct on frount, A trike will but a sidecar and a trike are 2 different critters. Gregg
