hey randy, i have two pair made in the progresive lens. One small pair and one large pair . the large set I took to quite well. these are my work glasses and I had no probs what so ever. NOw as for my smaller pair that was another story. I was on the verge of taking them bake. It took me a while to unerdstand to point your nose at what you want to look at. Finally fihured it out by mistake. WHat I did was to go for a ride. when I put on my full face helmet I have to turn my head to look at what I want to see due to the sides and bottom of the helmet. After a few rides I got used to the glasses and now have no probs. Yes if you turn your eyes without turning you head you will get a blur. For this reason I had to have a 3rd pair made but in single visionin my distance perscription. Hope this helps as it was what worked for me. First and formost is to learn to point your nose at what you want to see. David

help me plz new venture owner

WElcome aboard, Hopefully your point of view will be taken for whats its worth. ANd you havent thrown fuel on the fire so to speak. This is a conversation that has been hashed out several times with no-one agreiing on the same thing on this site. I'm no mechanic so I want get into the discusion. Now with that said , folks cant we all just get along and aswer the original question. Not sure if it was answerd cmpletely. TRhe white wires are from the Regulator rectifier to stator connection. had the same problem on mu 91. And solserd together as you did. Not sure why the bike willnot crank with the headlight fuse installed . And as ststed before, my first place to look for why the bike cuts off when you put it in gear would be to check if the side stand is down. If not then maybey check the side stand swiutch. My wifes shadow was doing the same thing with the stand down or up. I took the swithch off and apart cleaned it and the connections and it started working correctly. the sisde stand switch is in a place that collects oil if the bike leaks a little. Hope you get the answers you need. David -

not to point you in another direction, but doesnt the back rest on your bike say solo riding only. Reason I'm asking is mine says solo only. My wife and I are in the same boat so to speak as you. We found that if we removed the back reat she had plenty room and I could just get closer to her and didnt need the backrest. david -

Hey all, WE got back in safe . HAd a ball staying with aamcotrans (Rob & Clare). We met up with wanderer at the steak house and went to the show from there. Bike show was interesting and we had a good time. As someone has posted on another thread there was not a lot of great deals at this show but it was nice if you wanted to compare one bike after another. My wife ,Laura , was handling the camera so no pics of my new dream bike but I fell in love with the 2010 v_4 vfw interceptor. We had a ball visiting. Thanks Rob and Clare for putting us up and putting up with us. If the link works here are the pics my wife took. now if you have a balaclava then you could always fold the top(head section) down to where it is only on the back of your head and still the neck and chin areaare coverd buy the bottom section of the balaclava. That is assuming you are wearing a shoryt or half helmet. If you are wearing a full helmet then a different story. What I use with my full helmet is a different kind of balaclava. It is still the heavy fleece on the bottom but has a thin material (I'm guessing micro fleece) on top. I had the same problem with my original one. I bought the thinner version at cycle gear in the store. Not sure if they sell it on line. Good luck David
