  1. The Stebel comes with a 30 Amp relay so as long as the one you had is the same I don't see why you would need to change it.....unless you want to install the newer one. I just installed mine and I was able to move the wires back from the exhaust ..... did you remove any wire ties from the original horn wires ? The side cover kinda moved mine away from the pipes. This is what Craig is referring to
  2. I saw this one mentioned on a techy show one day....I'm using AVG 8.0 but this one was rated pretty good. http://www.free-av.com/
  3. I use a program called Sonicstage by Sony....they use a compression method called ATRAC (http://www.sony.net/Products/ATRAC3/overview/index.html) and they claim no loss of quality with compression.....any time you see an ad showing that their players can hold a large amount of tracks is with the use of ATRAC compression You can change the bit rate but I use 64 and have no problem with sound quality at all. Ripping at 320 will use up a lot of space and I believe 128 is suppose to be CD quality. You can download the program at this link....you will have to try it with your player I'm not sure if it works with all types http://www.atraclife.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=7 Its a fairly simple program to use but if you need any help get in touch!
  4. Registration paid for my brother and I. Cabin booked.......Ferry booked....yep...I have a 6hr ferry ride to get off this beautiful Island we live on. Looking forward to meeting a bunch of fine people from this site !!!!
  5. I know exactly how you feel.......one of my first accessories was a Wagner grill. It wasn't so much the cost of a new rad but getting my hands on one in my neck of the woods. What ever route you go its a good thing to invest in as soon as you can. SKU: 4XY-12461-00-00 RADIATOR ASSY 1 $240.12
  6. When I bought my 1977 Honda 750 I also bought a set of screwdrivers that fit the screws perfectly. I stand to be corrected but the head on a Japanese Phillipp's is slightly different. This came up here before on an older post. Here you go I found the old post http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=8686

  12. Its not easy.....my last ride was Oct 27th. Its started to warm up here and most of the snow is gone. There is just too much loose sand and left over salt on the roads to please me. There are a few brave souls out around but the highest temp I've see so for this Year has been 18C (around 70F) and that was just 1 day....it usually gets to around 12C during the day but below 0 in the night time. I guess thats the price you pay living on an Island in the Atlantic Ocean with a whole bunch of ice off the coast. I would say it will be late May before I get on the road. Now if it wasn't tucked away in its own room up on a stand I may be tempted to go for a ride !
  13. I have a Sony 4G and a Philips 2G MP3 player and find them both great. But what I use while riding is a Sony Minidisc player. I keep it in my trunk and when the battery dies I put in a new AA and keep on going. It has never skipped in the years I've been using it.The Disc's it uses are 1G and can store a pile of tunes when compressed. Last player I picked up new one for $25 with a bunch of discs and had a price tag on it for $380. Its not a format that really went anywhere in America but was quite popular in Japan. So if you see one of those in the bargain bin it might be something to consider if you don't mind using batteries. Keith
  14. Also put a dab of Loctite on your helmet holder bolts. They aren't cheap if you lose one of those. I also lost the left bolt on the front fender chrome piece. Since then I make it a habit of checking all the bolts from time to time and Loctite most of them. Someone mentioned awhile ago he lost one of the screws on the inside of the gas cap down into the tank. Keith

    Seat removal II

If you plan to remove that flange you will need shorter screws....Yamaha #92014-06010 are the ones I used. Or shorten the stock ones. You may not need the screws if you are going to leave that leg protector thing on if I remember correctly. Keith

    Seat removal II

If its the flange I think you are talking about.....I was told its there in case you overfill your gas tank the gas will run down and hit that flange and not go onto a hot engine. I took mine off. Keith
  24. I attached mine to the pouch on my tank tie. Keith
  25. I have a 1977 Honda 750K that I bought new. I plan to rebuild it one day and I had to store it outside for 5yrs before I build my garage. I had it covered in a crate that mostly consisted of a plastic tarp and just the bare ground on the bottom. I sprayed everything with a product called LPS 3 and it looks just the same as when It was stored. Good stuff and I believe its commonly used by the airline industry. Thought I'd Mention it in case someone is looking for something to use when storing. Keith http://www.lpslabs.com/product_pg/corrosion_pg/LPS3.html
