If you make it to Jacksonville FL let me know.
  4. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO THE BOTH OF YAS........... JEFF...JEAN....ZEUS......
  5. When I get some extra cash im gonna order your stand too......
  6. I just ordered mine from California Sport too. Good prices. Hey Larry, I just ordered your bracket too.
  7. Sounds like you need a good plugging there......... Seriously, I plugged my 99 and the popping went away. I personally used 5/8" heater hose caps from Help!, those red carded odd parts you see in auto stores like pep boys. They fit right in snugly. Also, toss in a can of Sea Foam carb cleaner and run the bike. Makes a big difference.
  8. Just ordered my Barons risers...thanks for the link Maineyak.
  9. Whoa!!!! A CHALLENGE IF I EVER SAW ONE!!!!!!:stirthepot:
  10. Not trying to be a spoil sport here but this question has come up many times and so far as I know, nobody had any luck with it.
  11. Glad you got it done. But, for future reference, a product called GooGone works wonders. Its a bit messy but it softens up those glued on parts real nice.
  12. Those lower fairings hide a bunch of electronics under the skin. I dont think you will be able to add that vent. Yamaha sells a wind deflector for the lowers however.
  13. Im getting my 7 person hot tub delivered this weekend. Now I too can join in the fun!!!!

    new tires

WIKD....Metzlers suck, plain and simple (at least on the RSV). I had run three sets of Metz' and two rear tires tossed chunks of rubber. Too bad, because they were a great handling tire. Mets customer service left a lot to be desired too. Avons are my tire of choice now.
  15. I had to do some last minute shopping for a friend who owns a HD Ultra. I rode to a local leather shop but all I was able to find within my budget (hey, I like the guy, but we aint sleeping together) was a Guardian bell. I had no other choice but to brave it and walk right into the belly of the beast....yes, I rode to our local Harley boutique, parked my Gleaming RSV amongst the Harleys and walked in with my head held up high. I soon realized that Almost nothing was within my budget here either (see above referenced excuse). I ended up getting him a gift certificate and walked out. There was a small crowd around my Gleaming RSV. I nodded to a few who only just stared back. I smiled, sat on the bike and fired it up...letting those 98 ponies pulsate through those (gasp!) Road King Mufflers!!!!....I kicked it into gear with my Harley boots and in the wink of an eye I shot out of there to the amazement of several onlookers. I thought I heard someone say..was it a bird..was it a plane....well, you know the rest.....:rotfl::rotfl:
  16. Yep, thats the problem I remember now...... Sure glad you got it figured out. And to think you needed a 1st gen man to guide you..oh the shame of it all......:duck:
  17. Dray....even I rode today........
  18. George, Im sure that the plates are out of line. If I remember correctly from when I did mine, there are three possible positions. Only 1 works. its been 4 years since I installed mine but if im right, you can get the info from the Barnett web site which dealt with the proper alignment. AND YOU DID USE NEW BOLTS..RIGHT????
  19. hey Muffinman, you paying attention???? LOL
  20. We didnt even get any rain here. Sorry for those folks who lost their lives in those storms.
  21. Since I live in Florida and am a NYC transplant whose blood has thinned to the consistency of water I find myself freezing at anything below 50 deg. Not to mention my frequent bouts with Arthur....So to be comfy I need about 60.
  22. I was glad to see Tom Coughlin win a Super Bowl. He tried so hard when he was Head Coach of the Jaguars, taking them to two Championship games, one in 1996, and the other in 1999. And Eli really shined!!
  23. Sounds good Mike. Right now im riding down with several Harleys and a Buell. Oh yea, one Road Star too. Should be interesting. Were staying at the Red Roof Inn at 45th st exit on I-95.
  24. Very good Don, politically correct!!!:rotf:
