I could say it more poetically and give more insight, but I'll have to ride some more first,,,,,,,, well,,,,,,,,maybe a lot more,,,,,,,,,,and become more picturesque in my speech.

what do they do
Marcarl replied to Pappa Bear's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
Mine are now keeping the heat in on a shelve, want them to add to your collection? or maybe you'd like two sets so you can practise putting them in and out. Less weight means the scoot goes faster and better gas mileage, haven't noticed either one really. Moral of this story: leave them off, they don't make no never mind. -
Thanks, I always wondered what they did all day long, just going from truck stop to truck stop seemed kind of boring,, but now I'm enlightened. Thanks for posting, now we need one for the farmer's

Think that would work on the scoot as well?????????

Darn, does that mean I missed it again???????You'd think after all these years that I've been around I'd start to remember when super bowl is being played. I remember Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving and sometimes my birthday, why oh why do I not remember super bowl????:think: -
Chances are that if you're picking up road noise with your mics, one of two things are happening or both. One is that the volume is turned up to high on the headsets and two is that the mic is facing the wrong way. Often times road noise will be reflected from your helmet, the face shield, the windscreen, into your mic(s), not necessarily from the road directly. Try to have the mic as close to your mouth as possible, and facing directly into you mouth. Whatever noise there is, the mic ain't particular, it'll pick it up and send it through.

Probably the fan is not running to move the air around, notice it's heavier around the Squid than around Her Sweetness. Boy these new cameras are something, aren't they? Next thing you know they'll be giving you a history as to WHAT you've been doing all day. lol:no-no-no:

I could always use another trailer, maybe one for the week and a special one for Sundays. You do need a scoot to pull this thing, DON'T YOU?

I've known this guy for 35 years, like a brother to me, yep you're wrong but he won't mind your hugs either. If you had come on our Labour Day ride last year you would know him now as well. That picture was taken on the top of a hill, we could see about 10-15 miles from there. Even the second gens made it up there, I was sooooooo surprised. Poor Mother, this thread was all about him and now it's gone the other way, Where Are You MOM??
-
NOPE your wrong on that one, OHSO wrong.

Just wondering how many that trailer will sleep and if a 2nd gen could tow it. Maybe better put the scoot iin the trailer and tow it with the 4X4, Lots of shirts hanging around, lots like they might be forsale, good idea, get rid of them, don't look like they would last long anyways, kind of flimsey.

Got a 'friend' well I don't know him yet, but my wife is working on that seeing as his wife is a friend of hers. So,,, I got a friend who is supposedly 6'3" and is looking to buy a new (to him) bike. The reason being is that his wife likes to ride with him and the present bike he owns, although he loves it and it's a Yamaha, will not accommodate her very well. So how does a 6'3" person fit on a Venture? Any modifications necessary to make it comfortable.

Ya that be mother, but who is the good looking guy behind him, real smart looking dude.
-
Let's see, you have some words right, big, biker, hair,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
-
Seems like he may be mom on the subject.
-
Good point Lou, Thanks for bringing it up.

I don't know why you want to push my buttons, but what the Wizard said is fine with me. He hasn't led me astray yet, so I guess he is dependable.
-
Obviously you haven't met him yet, but you might and then all your questions will be answered, by the way, he CAN COOK!!!!!!!!!

Canadian Back Bacon: pork back muscle, no fat, cured, smoked and cooked, best fried in some butter and can be eaten with anything, but mostly used with cackle berries. It is the chocolate of ham. Pictured on the left. Peameal Bacon: pork back muscle, no fat, cured and then rolled in yellow cornmeal, needs to be cooked, sliced thin and fried it's great with cackle berries or can be cut thicker and then grilled to eat on a bun. Pictured on the right.

Boy, somebody put a bee in your bonnet? Well too bad, I happen to very much agree with your statement(s). Politics is a good thing to discuss, but it always seems to go south, even when I get involved, and I can get that because I know I'm right,,,,,,,,,,,,,well for me that is,,,,,,,,but probably not for some else,,,,,which is ok to,,,,, that what's so wonderful about our countries, they're free,,, well as free as can be expected. And in order to maintain that freedom here, we need to stay with what will work, and that's helping each other, giving of ourselves to others, showing love and respect to each other, and so on. Getting in arguments about things that won't change anyways will only serve to separate us and ruin a good relationship. You have my permission to delete all that stuff, even if I posted it. Thanks for doing a wonderful job all you moderators, it must sometimes be a little frustrating, but keep up the good work, we are rooting for you.
