  1. If you need a wrench to do this job, go see Bongobob, he has an extra in my package.
  2. Couple of years ago Wizard765 and I had the same issue when we put on Vemons. Wayne took his off and put on Metlzers and has not had an issue since. I put on another rear Venom but still had the issue, so I went with Dunlop EIIs. Still had some of it so I took the whole front end apart and put it back together again, found one fork was slightly lower than the other (maybe 1\32") and that seemed to clear it up. This year I put the Avons back on and wouldn't you guess it,,,,, I had the same problem again, so I sent them back to Avon, and so far haven't heard from them yet. Put on Dunlop E IIIs and still the problem is there. So I thought that maybe it would be in the rear wheel hub where the pins go into the wheel. Super cleaned and lubed that all last week, but it made no difference. I don't know what to do next, so I'll be watching to see what your results will be.
  3. His wife is dead set against motorcylces and so he couldn't have one, so he was just very jealous of you.
  4. Don't work for me,, no matter what I do with it.
  5. Check the old head gaskets,,, if the oil came from that location it should show. Also check for cracks in the heads, have never heard of that happening, but if it's been overheated, you never know. It'd be a big pain to get it all together and then find out it ain't fixed as figured.
  6. Good to hear from you again,,, God bless you, and those helping you. Hope you'll find the road a little smoother in the future.
  7. Sure am glad that you decided to share this with us. Living for a short time (+- 70 yrs) is a fact of life, but during that time we tie together, fall in love, become attached to each other, depend on each other,,,,,,and then when one needs to leave,, it hurts. It also hurts us when some one we are attached to, hurts and has to suffer. Sometimes, there's not much we can do, but just be there for each other, and just hold hands. It's good that we can now hold your hand and help you in that small way. It also gives us the privilege of asking for a much higher Help to give you peace and patience while these issues plague you. We will pray for strength from above for you two, and saving grace for your sister-in-law, that she may find her suffering here to be short, and after that to be rid of all tears, sorrows and troubles.
  8. Somebody watching over you for a reason? Glad to see you typing words, and not somebody else. Pleasant dreams are my wish for you.
  9. Glad to hear you two are ok,,, somebody watching over you for sure. All the best from us, you'll probably will both have some effects for a few days.

Are you trying to imply that VentureRiders can not come up with the right answer? I thought we had all the smart ones on this forum. It'll just take a little more time and a bit more effort, but we will accomplish it,,, I'm almost sure of it now,,, almost. And do you think I have the answer?? Why do you think I asked the question,,, I'm not the smart one here.
  11. Looks almost as nice as mine Brad,,,, only issue I would have with it, would the the wide tires,,, a lot more road resistance and not as much pressure on the contact patch which may let it slide a little sooner than you might want.

  16. Read this thread yesterday, then forgot to post,,,, must be that I'm too busy,, but I didn't forget to ask my Father for His assisstance, so glad things are heading in the right direction.
  17. He may have had other issues, but the way I see it, he didn't apex the corner. He started the corner on the inside track and then was easily forced into the outside track and then lost it. He should have been on the outside track to start the curve and looking to move to the inside track half way through. If he'd doen that, he would have been able to save his bacon.
  18. Now the latest: We went to spend a day or two at Heather's. looked at a rental and decided to look in a different direction. The next day we looked at 8 for-sales and now they have an accepted offer on a four-seasons cottage. Closing S\B on the 28th or so, so then we get to go there to make things nice. Looks like the whole family is going to join in for the long weekend and do the needed work. It's sure nice to have you folks around doing the important work for us, like asking for guidance and direction. So far, it's all working out JUST PERFECT!!!! They should be moving in on the 5th or 6th.
  19. Almost a week late,,, are you still around???? if so, Happy Birthday,,, hope you feel older now, otherwise it was just a waste. See you soon.
  20. Bet she's happy it's a Ford, that way it's sure to be in the drive when she needs it, and some misery hasn't run off with it. Now we'll just hope for her, that it brings her home each time she goes out. Enjoy it Taters,,, looking good so far.

  22. It took a minute,,,, but yes, he did as he was told,,, all her fault!!!!!!
