New 2nd Gen RSV owner. Just picked up a 2006 RSV but the side stand is bent. I need to replace it and some other members recommended I post here to see if anyone who has converted their scoots to a trike might have a side stand laying around they need to "dispose" of. If you have one you want to get rid of, please let me know, I would be very grateful. Thanks, Mike:thumbsup2:

Harley Davidson Recently announced a joint effort with Lexus to develope a VROD trike. The manufacturing process is said to be unconventional and the first time anything like this has been attempted. P.S. This happened about a year ago near work, no one was injured believe it or not.

Now that I have triked my bike find my self shifting gears with out using clutch only to start and stop Have done this on 2 wheels but doing more now Any one else doing this on 2wheels or trike

I have an 07 RSV with hannigan trike kit. Can anyone tell me how to get this trike completely off the ground so I can get under it?Are there any cheap lifts out there for a trike?

ok got to test a goldwing trike. did not seem to like it.. its a conversion setup. voyager something??? well the dealer said it takes getting use to. you got that right. i started out made a left turn and the damn bike plowed?? reminds me of the old snowmobiles turn but keep going straight? well i made it out on the main rode it was fun. kept wanting to put my feet down at stop signs though. my height and stuff the bike fit kind of nice.. plenty of power. smooth shiffting. and price not bad. i was just out looking. cant afford it.. just pulled in with the old venture to rest and look around. got an offer of $1200 on the venture for a trade. but the wing was a little over 11k.. 2007 with 44k on it i thought that was high? but dont know what the kit cost to make it a trike.. dealer was sure trying to push it on anyone who seemed interested.. then i asked him how much for my bike outright? he said they dont buy that old of a bike.. WTF he wanted it if i traded it though? someday i will maybe go for a trike. but i think i will look here first... or get a good kit for a first gen.. well thats my day for today...

Being new to the RSV world, and having done many conversions, but haven't heard back from any of the ones converted except to say WOW why did I wait!! Which is good. Now if it was a Goldwing I know which tire works good, better, and best. However for the Venture, I don't have a clue ( Yet ) The tires on the bike when I got it were new, so it will be a while ( I hope ) before I need another. It is a Continental Conti. What I am asking is: What tire on the front of the Venture is considerer the best for the Trike. Is there size change Etc: There isn't too much found in the search.

I have heard from the triwing trikers about their gas mileage.My 07 hannigan trike is gettig around 30 miles to the gallon riding 60 mph.Some say I should be getting better.I had the carbs syn at a dealer about two months ago.The bike has just got 1400 miles on it.I want to know what you guys think.

Charlene and I spent the weekend in Indy this past weekend at my cousins home, he was hosting a family reunion for both sides of his family, which includes myself and Ken Derret, aka 1-Up, who is his wife's cousin, small world isnt it, I found this out right after the Tail of the Dragon in 2006. Well he had his trike there and I asked Charlene if she wanted to try riding it and she was a little reluctant at first but she did and she enjoyed it, even though we only rode the length of his very long drive..........I have to say I didnt do too well the turning radius is what I am used to and got it stuck in the grass and we had to get some help to back it up so I could ride it back to the house. As for the stalking part, they had a friend who stopped by and he was riding an 07 RSV trike so I talked up the site to him, asked him if he had his whine fixed and he said no, so I clued him in to talking to his dealer about an I-basket swap, I also convinced all four of the trike riders to come down to Vogel for next years Tail of the Dragon.:Venture: So how was your weekend??

What kind of gas mileage are you getting on your trikes.Mine is an 07 Hannigan trike and I am getting around 30 miles per gallon,riding between 60 & 65 mph .My brother in law is getting his Rsv back from the trike shop Monday .The guy building the trike said I should be getting better mileage than that.Should I be getting mine checked/:95:

It has been a month since I picked up my 02 Goldwing trike. I've ridden it 3,000 miles in that time and truly enjoy it. I'm waiting for a taller windshield to arrive which will help with the wind buffeting. This has been my biggest complaint. It has a stock windshield and I sit tall so this should remedy the problem. I also installed baker airwings and plan to get the wings for the mirrors. Sunday I rode 10 1/2 hours and was more tired from the wind as I rode interstate the whole way. It is so easy to ride and takes a ton of stress out of riding. I'm pleased with the purchase.

OK you Goldwingers - even though I don't ride a wing here is a dealer you got to remember. Harrisonburg, VA - Blueridge power sports, just south of Harrisonburg couple miles on Rt. 11. I was at a ride in and one of the guys on his trike just made it to the dealer. Universal joint needed replacing. None in stock. Now this is a Friday late afternoon. Being as he couldn't keep on going, he left the bike there. Maybe 2 hours later he gets a call - come on over and pick up your bike. Here the dealer took the part off of a brand new trike sitting on the floor so the guy could continue his ride. Never heard of anything like that. Definetly a dealer to keep in mind.

I went up to fuel up at my neighborhood gas station for a nice little trip down to Corpus Christi, I saw this and had to take a few shots. My question is, why on the trailer though? The guy is from Houston, headed home. The other bike is a Valkarie trike so I wasn't as impressed. I wonder how much HP that Chev power plant puts out? well im sitting here by myself. fireworks where last night right on my street by the river. lots and lots of cars. motorcycles. Dianne is off for a needed time with family. most of my family is just to far for me to travel too. MD,MN,NC,FL.AZ. got an offer to try a goldwing trike today. i didnt do it. just not ready yet to ride. now being a male and some pepole wont ride on the back being male. i went with this friend for a 100 mile ride. i just needed to feel that freedom. even if i wasent in control. iasked him if he would ever sell it? he said next year yep. . 1989 with 45.000 miles now. for $$4500. to me. i said if i get the workers comp check before xmas i just might bite on it. i know not a yamaha but dont know where i could find a yamaha trike that cheap next spring? any way you all have a wonderfull rest of the 4th sincerly James aka oldgoat

I need the CB Antenna mount with the boot, and cable to the CB on the Left side. The one on there is an aftermarket of some kind, and won't work too well with Trike setup. Email: revgp@junkmaster.com

Do you need a front tire for your Trike? I have a tire in the classifieds that I just took off of my bike. It's a Dunlop E3 MU90B-16. It is a rear tire that they had mounted in reverse so it would last a long time. The ONLY reason I took it off is that the bike seemed to wander on the road. Squidly took it for a ride and said that it was the tire causing the issue and he was right. As soon as I put on a front tire, it stopped. But with a trike you would not have this issue and you would not need to change the tire for a long long time. I would say it is in 95% or better condition. Pay pal will be payed right to Squidly as I owe him the money. Since I now have Collector plates on my bike I decided to stop at a local car show last night since I was riding by. Lots of neat toys to look at. And won a free dinner in the raffle. Missed the $50 gas card by 1. There was a custom trike there that was made from the back half of a Pontiac Fiero GT and a motorcycle front end to make a trike out of it. Lots of custom fiberglass to bring it all together and then it was painted a burnt metallic orange. Sorry but I did not have my camera with me. At one point I noticed a group of people standing by my bike arguing, so I wandered over to see what was going on. Turns out they were arguing about what year Gold Wing I used as a base to build this custom bike that I had. They could not / would not believe that was a stock Yamaha, even with all of the Yamaha logos.
