This past saturday me and Renate participated in the Patriot Guard,s annual fundraiser. Last year they had about 1,000 bikes but this year the unofficial total was close to 2,500. it was big enough that our governor, Tim Pawlenty, made an appearance and speech . It was a great day for a ride, especially when you get to run red lights while cars wait for you to pass. How long they waited i have no idea but i couldn,t see the front or rear of the column. Here are some pics of a great event and even better cause.

Hello everyone: New member from Maryland who just purchased a 2006 RSTD today for the wonderful price of 5300 dollars. I am new to this kind of bike. Are there any concerns with the RSTD I should be aware of. Look forward to getting to know everyone and participating as much as possible. Will post pics over the next couple of days. The bike is black and my first concern is good cleaning and waxing products. If anyone knows what works best on black, let me know. Thanks Walt

Forget it it I just cross referenced it with the Dunlop website and put 2+2 together and realized it was the difference between WWW and BWs.... the 2 pics of BW tires threw me...

A couple weeks ago I decided that I wanted a two tone Venture so I took everything off except the rear fender and left all of it at my local auto body shop (same place that did $10,000 repair to my Z71 when I met that deer in Pa ) Yesterday They called and said the parts were ready to be pin sripped and that Jaybird was waiting for me to decide the color. I met him there and we decided that a silver would be best. I left him to do his magic and was told that I should be able to pick everything up today. Now the question is, now that it's a two tone bike, is it still a MIDNIGHT Venture or is it a 10:30 Venture. Can't be midnight - it's not all black anymore. I don't have any pics yet but as soon as I get it back together I'll try to figure out how to post some pics.

Need some pics of an installed passenger footrest on a 1st gen. Preferably in the raised position. They took mine apart for chroming and I don't think I got all the parts back. I believe there must be a spring or something in there to keep it from flopping around. If someone could help me out, my Navigator would appreciate it! Dan -
We left vegas today and headed for yosimite np. We arived in lee vining ca this afternoon on the east side of the park to find the pass is still closed so we can't get to the park from this side. We took a drive this evening and took a few pics. If you look close at the dark one you can make out a coyote in the brush. We will head to the west side of the park tomorrow.

Check it out! I mounted my mack truck hood ornament on my fender. It's appropriate, I think. Just to let everyone now, a friend of mine is selling his 1999 GoldWing trike and custom trailer. It has just over 50K miles and also has the easy steer. This Wing is white in color and it is in excellent condition. He is asking $22.5K for both pieces. The custom trailer is about a year old and looks like a small horse trailer. It is also white with a lot of chrome. It is very sharp. He has over $5K invested but would take $4K for trailer alone. I'll try to get a few pics and post it in the classified shortly. Anyone interested just shoot me a PM and I'll get pics and more info to you quickly.
