I have a Zumo 550 and have it paired with my Blackberry. I have the Nolan helmet wired with the J&M headset. The problem is although I can hear the person they can not hear me when I speak. Any ideas?

Can anyone out there suggest a safe solvent to rinse out the fork tubes on my 83 (with 86 forks) I did an on the road repair and temporarily replaced the fork oil with ATF. Now I want to rinse them out before I refill with new fork oil. Ideas anyone?

When ever I open photo bucket the text is soo small you can not read it. You can not advance to the next page because you can not see a button. Also when you open a picture in comes in so large it is fuzzy. Any ideas to change the settings to enlarge the text and make the photos normal size. ? Brad

trying to think of a saturday trip. maybe 300 miles or so. we are covered with water in the st. charles area that i like to ride. anyone around here got some ideas and want to ride with me. the bus wiil probably leave about 5:30 am in the morning. bill

he guys, on a trip from cincinnati to st louis for a conference, had a great 404 mile ride here, park 07 rsv in parking garage, go to lower cb antenna so that i can cover up and as i pull up on the chrome sleeve the whole antenna comes out!!! so here i am with an antenna in my hand, stuck it back in but haven't fixed yet anyway any ideas such as can i glue the bottom portion in etc, having computor woes here in st louis so may not be able to check back on this post but hopefully so ideas before i leave friday for ohio. thanks Brian d.

Ok, so on my way in to work this evening, I pass a couple of Ventures on the road. Everytime I pass one, I wonder, "Are they a member of VR?" I think we ought to come up with a "secret" wave so we know who is a member as we pass. Then again, I may be smokin crack:rotf:. Any ideas?

I just ran a can through the tank and have been told by some that I need to change the oil to remove the debris that it has accumulated ?? I just changed it 1200 miles ago and synth. oli is expensive? Any ideas if this is needed or can harm my engine if I don't change it? In most of all the post I have read nobody mentions changing the oil after Seafoam.

All of the sudden I started blowing the fuse for blinker and gauges. I replace it and my volt gauge will show 13 for a while then bounce down to 8. Sometimes it comes back up but not always but the fuse will then blow again. Any Ideas???

Hi All I was wondering if anyone has any ideas about how to link the right and left fork tube air fittings. I worry about the pressure being different from side to side. Also, any ideas about a radiator surround for a 2006 Venture? It seems to need some chrome. Thanks for any help you can offer Marty

Me and Mrs went for a ride tonight and found out that my headsets, will receive the radio but will not transmit our voices, any ideas , can't see any loose wires!

I am looking for footboards/floorboards for my 1st gen VR but am having difficulty finding something I know will work. There are so many floorbards out there but out rides are getting old enough that theyre not included in the listing on what will fit anymore. Any suggestions ideas? Just got out bid on a pair on ebay that were markland brand but I cant find any info on them either. Thanks for all your ideas in advance.

I need some help. I ordered a new set of WWW Avons in March from a Western Canada dealership. After repeated promises of April 4 delivery - I was informed today that my $135 Avon MT90HB16 WWW (the narrower unit suggested by several people on this list) will require a few more months of waiting. Would anyone have any ideas where I might purchase this tire for a western canadian ? I appreciate your suggestions and ideas. Thanks in advance for your help

My passing lights and my Sebler horn are both out! With the passing lights I hear the soleniod click when I push the switch, but they do not come on! Any ideas on what could be the issue. I checked all fuses and they all look great. The passing lights are power off the front receptical and the horn is power from the circuit going to the rear receptical (if I had one). Any ideas or thought would be great. Thanks BikerJohn

I have a very annoying sound when I tilt the bike left or right,after I reach 45mph or better, sounds like the wind is catching on something and making a deep sound, anybody got any ideas???

The 87 idles at about 1000 after warm up, but the more I drive it the higher the idle gets! Once it gets to nice operating temp the idle goes up to about 2500 and even gets to 3 grand. Any ideas?

I was on my way home Saturday and saw a smoaller trike on a trailer had an integrated rear trunkand fender, single seater, with what looked to be a chromed out Kohler motor. Can't remember the name, think it started with an R, bike tagged in OK. Anyone have any Ideas what it was??

Hi all, I have a problem with my CB. I have had my trunk off for awhile and I put it back on yesterday. After install I was checking to make sure everything worked and when I got to the CB I got a "CBer" on my display. When I first pushed the CB button the light on the display would come on and just for a half-second the CB channel would display and then I would get the error. I believe it has always done this but I've never used the CB so I was not concerned about it. Until, on the Alabama M&E I saw how handy it could be so now I'm wanting to get it fixed. Any Ideas?

I love the look of the luggage rack on my bike. Problem now, the had such close clearance before that now I cannot close the lid with my fullface helmet becuase the bold heads will rub. Aside from trying to find carriage type bolts to fit, any ideas? Even before the rack, my wifes Scorpion full-face would not fit anyhow unless I took the mat out of the bottom. -
I posted a few minutes ago but ended up with a 2nd gen question on the 1st gen forum. I put in a stebel horn, and when finished noticed that I have no turn signals or flashers to the rear, everything is fine in the front- any ideas? I do have rear brake lights - thanks for any and all help tj

Well I have been thinking about buying a full touring bike and the venture had my attention till I sat on it. I'm just 5'8" so I was up on the balls of my feet which is not going to work. Any lowering ideas out there?

Anyone out there know where I can obtain a good USED or new gas tank for my 84? Cheap gas has rusted it out again. Tank is off and thought I'd try to repair it but think I'm just asking for future trouble..... Any ideas?
