Anyone transported their bike to Europe? When I get reach again (!!!) I would love to tour Europe on my bike (have no interest in renting someone elses). Just curious if anyone from our organization has done that?!

Just sitting here listening to a call in show on the radio taking calls from in-country 'nam vets. During the calls, a common theme developed which got me curious. How many of you still carry a P38. I still do and would really feel naked without it.

We went for a nice fall ride today and went thru Pisgah, IA where I saw a silver 2nd Gen along side the road. I couldn't stop, as we had a couple of other bikes with us and we were on our way to dinner. I'm just curious if it was someone on here. craigr

I am curious if anyone else has had a problem with their MP3 connection. I am trying to use mine and it works playing a radio station from my MP3, but my recorded music which is formated MP3 does not play. I am curious if it is an early version of MP3 on the bike or if I need to change the MP3 format of my downloads????? Thanks for any advice.

Been tooling around on the GS and i've seen at least 3 seperate 1st gens rolling around in and around Eaton Rapids and Charollotte MI. just curious, anyone here? couple maroon bikes and a white one.

Has anyone here ever tried the TireGard-Wireless Tire Monitoring system? Not very cheap and don't want to waste my money. I haven't dones much research so there is probably someone who sells them cheaper. Just curious if they work or not. http://www.bigbikeparts.com/ $209 at this site.

I'm just being curious here. From some of the pics you guys have posted i gather that the sidecar hook-up consist of a triangular framework with a rigid mounted seat box. That being the case, how does the mounting frame look of a sidecar that leans with the bike? Or does it not need the third brace due to the fact that the car itself leans as well? Like I said, just curious!

I got new insurance on my bike today. There was a 10% discount if you were a member of group or club. There were about 20-30 to choose from but no VentureRiders.org. Not even an option to write in on that wasn't in the list. Now I'm curious what makes one group better than another? Venturers.org, (for example), was in the list. They have about 5701 registered users. We have 6840 members here. Is it because we don't collect dues or have to pay fees to be members or something like that? Thanks, Bill

Does anyone have a set of the Diamond R airwings, that mounts directly behind the lower fairing, 2nd Gen? DiamondR doesn't sell them anymore. I'd like to make a set if anyone can describe how they're mounted and what they're mounted to. Also, curious to how affective they are in reducing buffeting. Thanks

I have nitrogen in all of my vehicle tires and like how long it lasts. Has anyone ever put it in their scoot tires? Curious as to whether or not to expect the same results.

I tried searching the forum but could not find it, but does anybody have a copy of the document the dealer uses to do final assembly of the 2nd Gen RSV? I would like to read the document as I am just curious as to what the dealer has to install and adjust... It might help purchasers of new bikes to make sure the dealer did not do something wrong...
