    had simalr prob on my 83 was the kick stand switch going bad look at it REAL close can by pass if bike quits again to get home... :confused07:

    I had been using castrol 20/50 in all my bikes with no problems and recently switched to castrol semi syn 20/50 in my 88 (looking for another couple miles per gallon) always change between 2k and 3k miles and the engine seems a bit noiseier any one else run into this? I really think I may switch back....

    was spotted in ruidoso, nm end of May texas plates. I just put wide whites on 83blondie's bike stock size, got them from chaparrel racing maxxis classics for around 150 bucks for both free shipping!!!!

    doing my first tranny rebuild and got it upside down and another parts bike on its side the guys at the xs/xj site say this is easier. got the clutch out and middle drive out and shifter cover off and "think" I see the problem one the one I am trying to fix but not sure if a) the parts bike tranny is good and, b) the best way to remove the trannys and shift drums. anyone with experience with a xs1100 tranny I would love to hear from you.

    I did my 88 throtle replacement with out removing the upper was a chore and proble would have been easier if I had removed but it is "doable"...

    I agree I have tuned everything (I think) and get 41 at steady 70, may do a bit more tuning with new color tune and see how that goes. thanks MiCarl.

    Got a question for ya, my younger brother lives in Castle Rock and wants to get started riding, hes looking for a bike that fits (hes like 6'4") and possibly some riding buddies. So I told him I would send you a pm to see if you knew of anything in your area for either.

    Went to Tucumcari yesterday to the MotherRoad Rally were at least 3 VR members there. Was great time with lots of money prizes for bike and non bike games and a drawing for 5000.00 bucks. 200 bucks for slow ride and those games and a very good live band that played all day long those guys had to be tired.

    the motion pro is the one I have used for 20 years and I like it a lot, sorry i cant say anything about the morgan tune but I have never had any problems with the motion pro, its very user friendlyjust keep it upright.
