If you got some one that needs it, go for it. I would just hang onto it after I fixed it waiting for someone that needed one.

Please keep this going through the week. This is a critical time for our members and I am sure they could and would like all the help they can get. Even though we get older and some of us get wiser it is so difficult to deal with the lose or potential lose of a loved one. It happens but it is never easy. Here is hoping and praying the burden is relieved at least a little by the prayers and good wishes being sent in their behalf. Steve

Bubber replied to Rocket's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
It is looking real good Rocket and Gary. Who knew that you guys were that talented. LMAO You guys did great can't wait to see it in person. I will have to give it the critical eye on Friday. (like I know what to look for LOL). A lot of work sure payed off. We won't even recognize the old deer hunter. Keep the light on for us. Oh I may have a surprise for the PIP if I can get'r done. -
Since I think your were talking to me Two questions What did you use for a hinge It is a special hinge call a hurricane hinge ~$40 What did you use for a locking mechanism Made my our but I have a catalog of parts How did you ensure the seal is water tight Special molding and seals What thickness of plywood did you use I used 3/8 on the side and 1/8" bendy birch on the curved parts. If I was to do it again I would use 1/8 all over Also what are the dimensions I would have to do a check of dimension Steve

I can only think that they appreciate the VenturRiders and what a family they are to help out in the time of need. I know they didn't ask, I asked for them. I want to tell you all thanks for jumping on this and being such good friends. My appreciation is over welming and I am sure their's is too. Have a great weekend and be safe out there. Steve

It is with a heavy heart I tell you that one of our own has some problems that could use all of our help in the form of prayers. The member's father is ill in their home land and it doesn't look good folks. Could you take a little time out of you busy schedules and offer up a few prayers over the next few day. I am sure they would be greatly appreciated. It is tough enough dealing with family illness but it makes it doubly hard from a distance. Since they haven/t made it public knowledge I hesitate to make it for them. You say the prayer and I am 100% positive that the man upstairs will hear them. This is an absolute. Godspeed to our friends and her family. And thank you VenturRide family. Steve aka Bubber

Yes my suggestion is to pack them up nice a safe and put my name and address on the box, take it down to USPS or UPS and send them off to me. I will be glad to properly dispose of them so your wife won't be bothered by that nasty old noise. Hey glad to help after all what are friends for. Is there anything else I can do to help my VenturRider buddies. LOL -
Prayers and good wishes sent! Bubber

Should we tell her which side of the road we drive or just leave it as a surprise? We will have a place to stay here in Minnesota if'in you get to our neck of the woods. My wife spent 1 1/2 years in OZ and we visited Sydney area for a month back in 2003. Looking forward to the OZ invasion. LOL Bubber

Bubber replied to eagleeye's topic in Watering Hole
I got home about 5:30pm and hit sprinkles about 2 miles south of North Branch. Saw lots of cops and there was lot of traffic heading west toward St.Paul. I had a great time with great friends, new and the previously met ones. You guys treated me like a king and WOW what great breakfasts you all served. Great conversation, great BS'ing, got a little work done and drank a little beer too (by accident). I didn't look at the final mileage but it was close to 600 round trip. Thanks for having us all and thanks to every one that came to either help or offer moral support. We got a lot of work done some how. Vent worked fine and it is still attached. Bubber -

Bike is ready, trailer packed with tools and toys. The clock is moving real slow and I will be leaving here at noon today (friday). I hope I can either outrun the rain or have it push me along. I hope to be at Eagleeye's by 6 at the latest depending on weather. Looking forward to it. Momma says not to run over any of those Wisconsin deer that are always sleeping along side the highway. I hope they sell Leinenkugel Red in Suak City. I could be real thirsty by the time I get there. Bubber -
Any comments I could possibly offer would just get me into more trouble then I would ever need or want. Good luck and I wasn't here .....right?
