I was never a Ford fan.....but when I saw the 2010 Tarus I was impressed. I always thought that Ford must have a designer that was suck in the sixties cause they were just frugly and more. But the the latest Tarus is really a looker. Very cool. Tell momma she will have to wait for better gas prices or what ever you can come up with.

Mini Actually it is 73 degrees year round, we just tell everybody that it is colder than a witch's @#$% in a brass bra to keep the population to a manageable number. We wouldn't want all those undesirables to get wind of the truth.

Hey I don't think my wife can -Polish the bike -make love -take a walk -post here in ten minutes. But I will pass it on to her. And that's when the fight began! Good Luck! What worked for me was just keep trying and oh ya avoid that first cigarette, that is always the one that gets you hooked again.

Boomer, how did you fair with the rash of bad weather down in La-weeze-ann-er this last week. It was on the news here that Rayne was hit real hard and lost lots of buildings. Hope all is good with you folks. Maybe you all should come to Minnesota where all is good if'n you like 20 degree weather for 6 months out of the year.

To Flanders Or Not To Flanders...
Bubber replied to bongobobny's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
A guy in Minneapolis put the flanders on his TD and just loved them he said that he also changed out the brake lines with SS and I think he even added 2 inches to the throttle cable too. Some say you don't have to extend the cable or the brake lines. I am sure they will chime in here real soon. Bubber -
Chrome Trunk Frame.....
Bubber replied to BoomerCPO's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Well I would except the little women has a problem with me keeping the door open long enough to get by bike in the house and into the living room. Something about the carpet or stuff like that. She is just damn picky that way. And to think at one time I kept my Knucklehead in the second floor bathroom one winter. :yikes: I think she is getting way to old for me! :rotf: Steve -

IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER The projects that must be completed before I can undertake this epic journey are; (in no particular order) 1. Repair HI-LO headlight switch. (you can do that in your sleep) 2. Install trailer hitch on bike. (Venture DAD hitch takes 15 minutes) 3. Wire bike for trailer. (you can do that in 45 minites and still have 3 beers) 4. Build a trailer. (I got a great start on that last night) (14 days, 12 hours, 37 minutes, and 53 seconds) 5. Find and repair coolant leak. ( remove tank and use mirror and flashlight, 2.3 hours) 6. Find and repair leak in rear tire. (take it off and take it a tire shop, 1 hour 17 minutes) 7. Find a way to mount and wire my GPS. (you can do that in your sleep) 8. All of the normal Spring maintenance that must be done before the first ride. (isn't that what MD is for) 9. Repair storm damage to tent from the last time I used it, 4 years ago. (buy new tent, 15 minutes at Walmart, max) 10. Grease rear wheel pins and install new HH rear pads. (do it when you take the tire off, no time, free) Wish list items; 11. Build and install receiver hitch for bike. (see number 2) 12. Finish making my first run of valve shim tools. (when do I get mine?) 13. Would like to get a new full face helmet for the trip. Get the wife/girl friend/ stranger a second job that way it is free to you) 14. Buy and install driving/fog lights. (Walmart and 15 minutes) I sure hope I have been helpful getting your project completed. If you need anymore help just ask! :stickpoke:Always glad to help a cheese head.
