Check this site out for Nuvi 765T ... Link removed to protect the innocent. The site was called sales-digital and it is a ripoff site.

Drive it for a while... keep an eye on your oil level and color as well as your coolant level and color. That sure looks like oil in the coolant to me tho...

hey Brian... if you'd quit trailerin that thing, you might get a few more km's on her... (I couldn't resist)

Gotta beware of them "cagers" even when they're stopped. Geesh man, you were lucky ... hoping for a speedy recovery! Had a elderly woman driver (no disrespect towards women or the elderly) rear-ended my car many years ago. When the cop asked her what happened, she told the cop "I thought I stepped on the brakes ... it must have been the brakes... if it was the gas, I would have gone faster..." Obviously the person who hit you didn't realize they were in reverse ... when they stepped on the gas it shocked them and were unable to recover quick enough. At least that's what appears to have happened.

hey Mark... U forgot to mention the mileage on yours..... Mine's an '06 ... appx 11,500 miles ... it had appx 805 miles when I got it a year ago.
-
Before getting my '06, I never had a bike with floorboards or a heel/toe shifter. Took me a while to get used to it alright. I'd keep hitting the edge of the floorboard when I came to a stop when I went to put my left foot (or right) down. Took a while to "feel" where my heel was in relation to the heel shift. Once I got onto it tho, I like it ... shifting is "natural" now and just being able to plant my feet in different positions is great. I doubt I'd ever be able to "go back".

That's the device used to determine when a G2 is gonna overtake a G1 .... let's the rider know he's about to get blown away....

nope... didn't pay a dime... all covered under warranty. I did have discussions with the service manager (who has been there for about 25 years) about the "I" basket swap so when I gave him the "go ahead", there was no confusion over specifically what I wanted (namely the "I" basket) so what went wrong after that, I don't know. He called me one day and said Yamaha authorized it and 2 weeks later he called me and said the part was in so I took the bike in one morning and got it back early afternoon with supposedly an "I" basket in it.... far be it from to to have had the foresight to inspect the part before they installed it. Apparently nobody else did either ... unless they knew what they got and aren't tellin.... or, and I doubt such a reputable dealer would do this but... unless they never did a thing and just told me they did. I have no documentation from them and seeing as it was warranty I guess they didn't feel a need to give me any.

heh ... you should see the "backyard mechanic's tool" I made .... OMG!!! ... but it worked LOL I think I'd be too embarrassed to post a pic of THAT MONSTROSITY! Yes, I will post updates as I get them. I just sent a followup email to the dealer asking what the status is so we'll see.

Awesome ... thanks Don. BTW, I still haven't heard back from the dealer as to what they or Yamaha is going to do about this. I think I will shake the tree a bit tomorrow if I haven't heard by then.
