We all know that Yamaha is not going to change it, if anything they will drop if from the line for a few years and then do what Kawa did, change it radically but not the way we would like to see it, they dont care what the riding public wants........so just be happy you have a great bike now, look what they did to the 1st Gen.........they are still around and racking up the miles, the 2nd Gen will end up just like the 1st Gen...........

While coming back from Freebirds MD, Ediddy picked up a 3 inch bolt in his tire, luckily it went between the tread almost in the middle of the tire, so we plugged it and put in some Ride On and it didnt leak at all all the way back. I would only do it on a rear tire and only under ideal conditions. As far as I know he is still riding on the tire. But NEVER, NEVER in the sidewall or close to it.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I knew I could count on my buddy Skid...............

I guess Jamie will have to be changing his name soon, he no longer has the GW, since his wife has her own bike, he decided to downsize and go with something a little smaller, he now has a 2007 V Star 1100 Silverado. Very nice bike, looks like brand new, he is very happy with it and looks forward to riding to Skids in a couple of weeks. We are in the planning stages of that ride. I know pics are required but I didnt have my camera with me when I saw it the other nite, but they will be forthcoming.

Is ride to work day for me, its the only way to go..............Starts the day off on a good note, and after a stressfull day at work, a cycletherapy ride is just what the Dr. ordered........

Sounds like your pinion gear, that is the gear that has the u joint attached to it. I had the same thing happen to mine, I was lucky, it was really chewed up, but the gear it meshed with was fine......not a hard fix, a lot easier than pulling the motor and replacing the tranny gears. I think I have some pics of it someplace, I will see if I can find them.
-
Which model of the Tom Tom do you have, my wife wants to give me one for fathers day........and how is it mounted on your bike. Thanks.
