  1. STOP THE WEDDING! It would be a lot lucker to wait till November 11:11 11/11/11 Morning or evening, makes no difference! Of course we're streeching this a bit as the year is 2011.\ I'd still buy the lottery tickets though... I've got Powerball and MegaMillions! WaaaHooo!
  2. I'm right here watching the Ravens do a beat down on Kansas City... To bad... I really don't care for the Ravens...
  3. be it a two cycle or four. Make sure every year you put her up for winter out of fuel and take plugs out and engine mist her, or shell be CRANKEY!
  4. Simply unbelieveable! Colts lost to the New York Jets on a ground game... ? Two turn overs in a row. I 'm conFused though, Jets were suppose to play Steelers next week? not so on the NFL SCHEDULE POST online sites?
  5. your wish is hereby GRANTED!
  6. I like it!
  7. I'm thinkin if he likes the rush of falling theres nothing like nosing a cessna over at 11,000' and pulling up. A lot safer to...
  8. Thats a very good way to think. If you have your family and your health you can go out and get the rest. It does seem to happen bad luck comes in threes?
  9. AHHHHHHHH TO BE YOUNG AND INDESTRUCTABLE....... Ya think maybe he has a load going on in his pants? That KaYaK seems to be draftng a little more water. LOL
  10. Brake pad, Maybe I just didn't get it, but are you saying "no good deed is left unpunished?" If a lady needed help getting her bike into the back of her truck, I would try to help her out. It does however bring up the implicatiions of being a good sumaritan... Definately something to think about. Cost him $500 just because he wanted to help her out?
  11. Outkast, actually I did misread what bike it applied to, Skydoc17 had the same concern so thanks for the heads up guys. Might have just saved me from a accident. I might have assumed when I hit the rear it was also applying the front. Actually I'm glad it dosen't as I am somewhat a control freak but would want ABS if they ever became available. Thanks again Joe
  12. I'm not a Dr. but went thru a simiular experience a few years ago. Woke up at 3 am and felt as if I had been stabbed in the stomach. Pain lasted for 3 -4 hours. The night before I had drank 4-5 beers and eaten a lot of dehydrated apples and peanuts. If you dehydrate yourself, your electrolytes drop. Electrolytes are what keeps your heart beating and gives your intestinal system the ability to produce bile along with a miriad of other things. If you don't produce bile, gas will be produced and backup causing pain that is unimaginable. Is it possible your daughter is dehydrating herself? Exercise, to much water, eating dehydrated foods etc... I now drink 1 Gatorade G2 every day and it hasn't reoccurred since. Of course I haven't eaten dehydrated apples since either. Hope they figure it out. But I'd Take her to a better hospital.
  13. ny honda... I have a 2000 350 olive green honda rancher electric shift 4 wheel drive only. And a 2009 420 camo Honda foreman electric shift , can be 2 wheel or 4 wheel drive using shift lever. Bought both new and have just changed starter brushes 2 times in 350 and routine maintainence on both. 420 would probably be better suited for you as it has a little more power/torque and you gain tha ability to shift into 2 wheel drive(goes faster).
  14. I know how you feel. Had to do it to. I just got back from a 75 mile ride. The wife thinKs I'm carzy. May be I am, or, hardheaded ....one of the two for sure. It was only misting when I left but drizzeling rain by the time I got to Parkersburg Lowes.. Funny thing though... Didn't see any other bikes on the road? Anyway Hope you all had a HAPPY NEW YEAR.
  15. Was told by a Harley dealership owner there is only one bike that costs more to maintain than a Harley... That would be a BMW... also, good luck on servicing depending on what part of the country you are in. The honda sounds good with all the bells and whistles but you better have deep pockets. But I'll stick with my RSV... Shes done me good so far.
  16. Now that sounds like a plan John. I too am aimen to misbehave as soon as the rain stops around 3pm. Glad I didn't detail the bike after I rebuilt the carbs as the gravel road I live on is gonna really do a number on the bike.
  17. FEB 3 is the next possible ride to watch the shuttle launch. As usual all are welcome to join me. Happy New Year!
  18. Just remember, the international rally is comming up. It could be a reality. You can't believe how sweet a ride it is. The scenry is UNBELIEVABLE!
  19. I'm watching Wild Hogs (again). It's an excellent movie that someone that hasn't completed a cross country motorcycle ride would not understand.
  20. Sandyville WV. Ride any temp above 35, as log as snow and ice aren't present. With my Spyder ski jacket, leather dickie(no pun intended), multiple layers, bibs, ski gloves, foot warmers and Sorel boots. I'm good to go. Got my wife to sew a pouch perpendicular on bottom of my socks under the ball and toes of my foot to hold the 1 1/2"w x 3 L foot warmers. Good for 6-8 hrs. SweeeeeeeeeeeeeT! One can buy a whole box of these for .50 apack around the end of February and they will last for years. Will probalbly get her out tomorrow as its suppose to be 55 deg and sunny. Now if my Morgan carb tune would just get here...
  21. Or it might just be that we have exta large brains? Seriously though, I don't see why someone cant make a 3/4 helmet with a face guard much like the pro NFL helmets. They wouldn't restrict the airflow and would be as cool as a half helmet to wear not to mention a lot safer.
  22. Jesus must have been rooten for Arizona... Merry Christmas all...Good night!
  23. It could still happen..... 4:52 min left and yes I feel for anyone that "has" to work today...God bless
  24. Don't want this to turn into a "I'm tellin you to do something" against your wishes, cause I'm not.... but, In April of this year I hit a deer and did a unconscious face plant/slide for 45 ft? with a HJC full face helmet. After 4 hours in the emergency room the surgeon said that I didn't know how lucky I was to have been wearing a armor mesh jacket and a FULL FACE HELMET. Said that I would probably be talking to a plastic surgeon about facial reconstruction ... I really like the air flow as I get hot easily, but have yet to find a helmet maker that makes something that looks like a professional NFL footbaLL HELMET That is DOT approved. If they did, I'd buy it today!
  25. Of course not, but one would have to wonder why they are playing on Jesus birthday... I really feel for people that "have" to work on this day, and I, refuse to leave my home and cause someone to have to work on this day to provide me a service. Therefore, after much thought, I wish the Arizona Cardinals and the Dallas Cowboys end up in a tied game... Probably won't happen though as the cardinals are leading 14-0 at the end of the first quarter... but wouldn't that be something?
