  1. Nice ride Larry. Are you keeping it the same color or are you going to repaint it to a differant color?
  2. Joe, the price on the bike is good. It's fall in Michigan, not a good time to move a bike. You may want to list it on Ebay. I would not drop the price anymore. That's a nice bike for the money.
  3. Welcome Scott. Where about in Michigan are you located?
  4. Sorry to hear they are jacking you over at work Joe. Some companies have absolutely no scrupples what so ever. For anyone that maybe interested in the bike, I for one can vouch for it, it is a VERY nice ride. At this price, your getting one heck of a good deal! Joe keeps the thing immaculate.
  5. I would like to get one, but I just do not have the room in the garage anymore. My father in-law bought one not too long ago and likes it really well.
  6. I have been considering some heated gear. Maybe go down to Iron Pony in Columbus in a few weeks and see what I can pick up for next year. I have problems keeping my fingers warm. Snowmobile gloves are too thick, can't feel the throttle or clutch. I would'nt mind getting some heated gloves and a vest. Bikes are done for this year. If I can find something maybe I will ride later next year.
  7. Congrats on finding another bike. Are you going the Hannigan route or another Triwing? If you need ANYTHING, you get ahold of me and I will swing by after work. Randy
  8. The bikes are put away for the winter.
  9. Amateur. I can do all of that and more on my second Gen.............................
  10. The sniper is working the freeway about 20 miles west of where I saw this guy. I drive through that area twice a day. No bullit holes yet. Morning temps are in the high 30's and it was the first bike I saw in about two weeks.
  11. Nah, the guy was too...........young! Sorry Larry, you know I love ya buddy!
  12. The guy this morning on I-696 east heading to the eastside of Detroit on the first gen.....was it someone from this forum?
  13. We had some pretty high winds in the Ann Arbor Michigan area. It was snowing when I left for work at 5:45 am this morning. A buddy of mine lives about 30 miles north of me in Linden, his lawn was all white.
  14. I will have to do that. But I don't know if I will be able to keep up with the 1st Gen
  15. All I hear is "Star Vests". You know what? When "Star" pays for my vest and the patches, then they can say what can or cannot be on it. Until then, they can p!$$ up a rope.
  16. We are thinking of heading down to Florida next year and maybe hitting this road and a few others on the way down. If not, maybe the upper east part of the US of A through Pa, NY, all the way up to the tip of Maine then down the coastline. Maybe gone two full weeks.
  17. I am thinking of running down to North Carolina and ride The Devils Whip. Anyone ride that road?
  18. Personally, I think he was paying way too much attention to the camera and not enough to the road. I just did the Dragon last month. Did the Moonshiner 28 the next day pulling a trailor, so I don't know what the extra gear has anything to do with it. As the title of this thread says, you go where you look. He was looking at the camera on the left, he went left, not right, and straight into a really nice Vette. Hope the photo op was worth it.
  19. Looks like the guy on the far right side went around the car on the shoulder. He almost sideswiped the other bike went he passed that car on the left side. What a tool.
  20. I can't believe your selling the bike after all the work that went into that trunk!! I think you maybe So if you move to Arizona, who you gonna ride with
  21. Well, I have had my pics taken by Killboy and Slayer129. Cool service, BUT, had they not been there taking this guys pic, he probably would not have been looking at the camera. Of course he may also have been going to fast for the curve. Only he knows for sure. When riding the Dragon or any other twisty road, you can't be looking off to the side, you have to keep your eyes on the road!
  22. Why are you selling the bike Joe? Are you moving to Az?
  23. I would not ride with him. If he and Star are that anal, they can keep their chapters and their rides. My vest has a large Star patch on the back, it also has other patches and if anyone told me I could not wear it on a ride things would get heated real quick. I have heard too many issues with "organized" clubs. I personally do not need the drama. I rode a few times with the local Chapter out of Ann Arbor and the few times I did, I heard some bickering and saw some tension with some of the "Officers" and the members. Turned me off. I am happy to ride all by my lonesome if need be.
  24. I just did it last month. Awesome riding down there. I may have to make my way back down there again next year. Also ran the Moonshiner 28 down into Georgia and back, then the Skyway.
  25. Whe I sell something I price competitive with other items of the same condition. I am willing to work on the price to a certain extent. Last big ticket item was a car. I was asking $3250. A guy shows up and offers me $1500. I looked at him and told him he was an idiot, locked up the car and went into the house. Two weeks later he called, made a reasonable offer that I would have took originally and told him no. Somebody else is looking at it for more (nobody was), he ended up giving me $3100 for the car.
