I agree. Nobody is going to tell me that replacing the cassette with guages would cost an arm and a leg in engineering. They could come up with a set of micro guages to match the speedo in a lcd. They could make it slide right into the hole for the cassette. I made a set with automotive guages from O-Rielly and I am an idiot. Just think what a smart engineer could do.Would it really take that much to add abs? I do not think they will make any changes to the current design or any little tweek updates. They just are not selling enough of the bikes to warrant the initial cash outlay.

Call them and let them know. The number is a few posts north. IF I were to buy new, it's a Kawasaki. For me the Voyager works. I let them know that too.

Just for giggles and grins I called. Asked if Yammy monitors the forums, reply was yes they do. Asked if they realize they are loosing market share. I let them know that I test rode a Kawasaki Voyager, liked it and if I was to buy a new bike, that would be it. Especially since it's about $2500 LESS than the Venture. They said that they found out the Venture had not changed when we did. Yamaha is very tight lipped. They log and submit the calls, but it won't do any good. But if you want to vent, i posted the number in my previous post.

First and foremost, I hope the injured parties are doing ok. Sounds like inexperiance on the bike. Second, that Voyager kit looks like a joke. That thing is hideous and looks ridiculous. Hannigan or a Tri-wing. I know I rode with Larry last year on a fall color ride and I could not keep up with him. Looked pretty darn stable to me. In fact, when I find a Venture trike at the right price, it's coming home with me.

I noticed the E3's have gone up in price a bit. I was thinking about Metzlers, but I am having great luck with the E3's, so I probably will just get another set of those.

That's easy to answer. I have a job, my wife has a job, my mother in-law has a job and my father in-law has a job. I only have a week paid off and trying to get 4 poeple that work full time off at the same time is not an easy task. This is when we can go and for how long.

You will like the 130. I put E3's on my 07 RSV in the spring of 2011. I now have over 20k miles on those tires, occasionally ride two up and pull a trailer. Also, I am not easy on the throttle. I can finish out this year no problem on these tires. If you want to increase your steering even more, drop the front end 3/4". I did that a few weeks ago. Now it even has better low speed steering. Next spring when I replace those tires, you know what I am putting on? E3"s

Must have gotten burned or is just paranoid. My dad is like that. Thinks everyone is out to screw him. I live in Michigan and bought my wifes bike in N. Carolina and I bought mine in Maryland. No issues.

Eck, my father in-law said that was one of the spots we are going to along with the Cherohala Skyway. Looking forward to getting out of dodge for a week. No real plans for a change.

Doing the Tail probably Monday of next week and also the Moonshine 28. Are there any must see areas around there? Going with my in-laws, basically no plans other than those two rides but we have the whole week to play around. Any suggestions?
