    xrays shows the knee shifted? out side of knee is where the bone is rubbing the most. so im becomming knocked knee. we talked it over did the injections. orderd a MRI and sent in a request and a referal. for knee replacement to medicade and medicare. this can take about a month or better for approval. docotor says the right knee, is compensating for the gate from the left knee problem. some injury in there. more then likely some torn cartlage? or menscuis? he can work on that one with out replacement but that left knee is just not going to hold up. so he wants to do it. now its just the waiting game.

    well i been haveing terrible knee pain in both knees. my left knee has been operated on over 17 times in just about as many years. there is now bone on bone. last night it tried to lock up? never had that before? heard a loud pop? now lots of pain. im going in for some injections. some xrays. and a possible MRI. i have been trying to get the doctor to replace this bad left knee. ever since the workers comp accident to it. im still fighting that case. of coure the doctor says your too young im 53 to have a total knee replacement? lets just keep doing the injections. well i got news for him. its my body my insurance company pays the bill. so lets get er done. no one should have to suffer if there is a better fix out there. granted a total knee replacement scares the crap out of me. like can i ride again? should i sell the venture and find a smaller bike?. it,s been over a year and a half and i have not taken the venture out for no more then 100 miles in that year and a half. im frustrated broke and just want to feel good again. get a bike i can handle. and maybe make that last run? well thanks for letting me get this out. off to see the doctor.

    today my great niece called and wanted to know if i wanted to go to the mall. now i know this was a trick to get a ride there. so i say sure but great uncle is broke and sure could use a nice hot dog at the mall she said sure no problem . so off i go to pick her up. now this is a 14 year old girl. so sure enough. there are 3 teenage girls waiting at grandmas thats who is raising her now. i said hey whats this? she said uh well they showed up and is it okay if they go to? there moms said its ok. so off we go these 3 teenage girls and a old goat. we get to the mall i get my hot dog and a soft drink. and just go and sit on a bench. while these girls run from every store in the place. while sitting on the bench. i hear these guys on the other bench whisper hey look at the guy with the pony tail is he a woman or a man? i got up went over and sat at the far end of there bench. looked them both in the eye and said hey how is your sex life going? they both looked at me and said why? i said well you must not be getting any. because if you cant tell the differance between a 250 pound man with a goatee and a ponytail from a woman. you just might want to go down there to the eye clinic and get your eyes checked out. one guy said well hows your sex life then? i said did you see them 3 teenage girls? they said yep sure did. i said im doing all three of there moms.( by the way im not.) but boy did the 2 men on the bench i got up from sure busted out laughing.:rotf:

    just letting you all know. that the job i worked at for the homeless pepole ended today. they opened up the winter shelter in town here. so once again food, and bills will be tight. i just dont what to do any more? im tired of trying to keep my head up. and fighting the wolves at my door. im still dealing with a workers comp case for over 3 years now. the INSURANCE COMPANY for the employer for got to submit a medical set aside aggrement? we went in for the settlement offer only to be tould it will take another 4 months because of the insurance company not follwing the rules. of course they will have a penatly to pay. big deal it dont help me none. it will go onto my settlement when ever that comes? so here i sit. looking at the car thinking i cant make the payments next month. they have been nice and defered 3 payments for me as i was thinking hey the settlement was to be approved this month. and it didnt happen. so once again food will waht i can get from the pantry every 2 weeks? the internet or cable has to go?. i went down and applied for energy assistance. and im 150 on the list ouch!! but should be approved. im just glad that i did save a little to make it to a friends daughters funeral. i think when my time comes the good lord will know that no matter how little i had i gave what i could. take care everyone. i will pop in and out when i stop at the local library. sincerly oldgoat.

    yep sky doc-17 set me up with a good radiator. mine leaked on the upper top right by the cap. found out it was the little pipe thing that the over flow hooked up to. after putting on skydoc,s and some good used hoses i got the bike back on the road. and the old radiator was fixed by a local shop here for $15 bucks. so i have a spare as well. the man said he never saw such a good looking radiator for as old as mine was. and it just looked like someone pinched that little pipe. he straigtened it out put a small nail in it to reopen it up for the hose and did some kind of weld and pressure tested it. so the old one is now good as well.

    just got back last night from the funeral and a small vist with 2 of my best girls my daughter Amber and Dianne. the funeral for my friends daughter went well. then some time with my girls. and i got to see a picture of dianne,s boyfriend. hansome guy can a man say another guy is hansome? any ways. he got his insurance check from his stolen items that i talked about a few post,s back. he is now going to hold onto that money and look for a venture!! see i can talk some pepole into buying one of these great bikes. i warned him about the 83 frame problems and the second gear problems. and advised him to maybe go 86 and up. so looks like next spring we may have a new member?

    heading out to pine river MN. to attend the funeral. friday. then a few days with my daughter. dianne is going to swing down from dakota to see me as well in brainerd and to visit my daughter. so there will be some sad times and some good times. god bless all of you. try not to miss the oldgoat too much:bighug:

    also takeing down some of the MN crews numbers from the site here. i will be in my cage. and its a good car but never know . so to be safe im doing this. i know good pepole here will do there best if i should have some kind of road trouble. i think black owl is up in that northern country as well?

    thanks bubber if im in and around your area on the way back i will give a shout out. just wish this trip was for a better reason to once again see them wonderfull lakes i use to fish when i was a kid. instead of saying good bye to a friends child. james aka oldgoat

    ok i will be heading out for MN tuesday. any one in the MN area know how the roads are? i will be travling on 94 and 494 then 10 into st cloud for a quick stop. then up to brainerd mn then on to pine river. any construction i should know about? thanks james aka oldgoat

    heading out tuesday to pine river MN i sold some stuff to the pawn shop to make this trip. i just got to do this for an old friend. her funeral his daughters will be friday. then i will head back home maybe sunday? this puts a little hardship im my finace department. but my daughter up there said she has some boxes of food for me to take back home and she will fill up my gas tank for my trip back home and pack me a lunch so i dont have to stop and pay to eat some where. a friend of over 30 years i just have to do this.

    thanks every one for your prayers. for the family as well as me. im realy starting to have a hard time with all of this. 3 friends gone in less then 2 years. im broke again . hard times again. workers comp settlement has been back logged. my health issues. some times i wonder how the heck am i going to pull through all of this? i just need that time when i have a bike running that i can trust . and next year i just got to head out and go. where i have no idea? my bike is now payed off. i had a small loan on it. just need maybe a good trike kit cheap!! and make the venture go again. mike usa1 said shes not bad just tries to drop a cyl. but picks up and goes? so if i can just get that fixed next spring. find a cheap voyager kit when the settlement comes in after paying all the back bills i think i can swing a kit or a smaller bike? i realy need to get away from all this. james aka oldgoat

    three days ago my best friends daughter had a grand mal seizure. she suffered from these since she was 8 years old. well she had a bad one and her heart stopped as well. they shocked her and flew her to st cloud MN they cooled her down and placed her in a induced coma ...today they tried to warm her up. and there was no response. her brain and body shut down. she passed away. she was only 34 years old . i am verry sad as i dont have the money to travel up there for the funeral service. but i would like to ask for a few prayers for her family . me and her family where verry close. they even took me in when i was homeless. so you can see how bad i feel. thanks james
