Ya maybe in'about 4 hours! I'm privy to a drill press and grinder, links made and installed in about 45 minutes!

It's just a bump in the road for me, we've had 5 funerals this last year from inattentive cagers,(cell talk/texting) I've had a couple real close calls:shock3: and I know if we were ever rear ended and Cookie got hurt I'd never forgive myself. I guess it's just in my bones after running the odds for over 50 years of riding :backinmyday:with out a crash I just feel the nagging need:depressed: to step back for a while:fishin:..... NO, I won't leave the site, just re-newed my dues ! You all are like family ! Thanks for the understanding,,,,,OK,,,,who wants my scoot? Renne...............

We've had 5 fatalities locally within this last year. Two were distracted cell/text drivers ( rear ended!), one a deer, one a left turn in front of a rider and one lost control to avoid a collision. I see more and more cagers "isolated from the world" failing to "drive" in favor of social networking .

Life takes us down many roads, some we navigate, some are navigated for us. Along the way, decisions have to made when we find ourselves at crossroads. I've decided it's necessary to sell my 2008 RSVS. With just over 4k it'll last someone a LONG time. The price is right, PM me and I'll send pix and a list of nice touches. YEOW! That's gotta hurt! I know of that pain, I experienced it when my little HD 165 kicked me back! (longggg time ago) I'm still mindful of it at times. Annyhoo, tell her to rest easy! Oh ya, an if ya get too far behind on the cleaning, just sprinkle with grass seed and water every 3 or 4 days. Renne,,,,

Installed Leveling Links - Wow - a new bike

After many hours of "thread" time reading the pro's and con's of which ever, lower the front,,,raise the back, a Butler seat mod, a 130 vs. a stock 150 front tire I finally caved in. Being a metal artist with all the tools one could imagine, I decided to pop out a set of leveling links according to the posted measurements. Took all of 20 minutes to make a set and another 30 to install em, (first time and I'm slow),,,,,results,,,,,,,well,,,,,an improvement of over 50% in handling,,,,,,,Thank Rick ! My ho,,,,,I'm leaving them on ! Anybody with a hacksaw, drill press and grinder can do these in just a matter of minutes! Total cost of materials about $3.00............................What can I say? Renne......slow speed "smil'in"......... -
Ok , I "JUST" caved in, and with dirty,greasy hands I type. (Cookie just wacked me!) Annahow, me be'in a metal artist with all the shop tools needed and then some, found some scrap strap and fashioned a set of links to the "prescribed" measurements on the "threads" and within 20 minutes I experienced a LOT LESS heavy manhandling at slow speeds....Well that's it from me....I'm happy.....dowack'a'do.............................!! Hang in there Boomer, there's a "few" good ones out there ! Mine, (Cookie) said " When you marry me, I'll pay off your Harley" ! No brainer, we've had 4 scoots and numerous street rods since that wonderful day ! (And, she's really tiny cute too)! (couple'a boats too.....and,,,,she almost NEVER sez no)!.....
